Pain Has a Purpose—Use It!
In a world of 'Good vibes only', it leaves us to question: Is there a place for the 'Baddie vibes,' besides the deep pit in your stomach of denial? Can't we just lose ourselves in humour and distraction by imagining them in cute little biker jackets and shades, or as super-villains shrouded in capes and mystery causing trouble instead?

Is Repetition a Detriment to Our Creativity?
If you’ve read some of my thoughts and articles before you already know my answer to this. If you haven’t come across anything I’ve shared, my answer is… YES. Don’t get me wrong, repetition is useful and purposeful in many cases, but it definitely takes away from your true personal identity. It takes away from what makes you an individual, and let me tell you why.

My Room
I was sitting in a dark room. Pitch black. I had a flashlight, but the batteries were old. The light wasn’t as bright as it used to be. I knew the room was full, but I wasn’t able to see my surroundings clearly until I got close to them. I was stumbling, bumping into old furniture and boxes. Feeling my way around, trying to make sense of the clutter. For so long, I had been surrounded by the mess. It was overwhelming. And then, I found the light switch.

War in My Head
This is my first creator's story. This picture is proof that people who put a smile on their face throughout many moments of their day can still be a true mess on the inside. If you haven’t figured already, that’s me in the picture above. I figured I would start my first creator's story introducing myself and giving you a little info on what I have been struggling with on a daily basis.

Commitment
Commitment. It is defined as the state or quality of being dedicated to a person, thing, cause, or activity. It is a moral act and it sounds simple enough, yet so many fail at fulfilling it. Why? There are myriad reasons, but this is not our topic of conversation today. Today I am speaking from the standpoint of why commitment is necessary to win—in marriage, in relationships, in life.

The Best Laid Plans...
As you come to know me, you will learn that I am a HUGE planner! Oh, yes, I do entertain spontaneity with the best of them, but planning ahead and working towards creating memories and organizing/researching the perfect vacation, day trip or party is my sweet spot.

Turning External Turmoil to Internal Serenity
No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you want to go, you will likely face obstacles. One way to think of this inevitable change is to imagine that we are rocks constantly being hit with water, shaping and forming us into different shapes as time goes on.

Emotional Challenges
I think it’s pretty safe to say we all have emotional challenges over the course of our journey through this life. From the spiritual novice to the most evolved spiritual leaders, emotional challenges are unavoidable. More importantly, I have found that they create necessary growth and change.

The Legacy You Leave
Have you ever heard the saying, "Pics or it didn't happen"? One day I was walking with some friends on a popular street in California. We took a picture standing next to a man who directs different celebrities. He asked us what we were doing there, and my friend said, "Just YouTube you know, making videos." The man nodded and smiled saying, "I Vlog therefore I am."

Perfect Vision, Not
“Perfect vision!” That is what my ophthalmologist said yesterday morning. It is a fact I take pride in. To be two days short of my 71st birthday and not need cheaters to read a menu, or glasses for driving is incredible. Yet, as the day wore on, I became obsessed with wondering why, with perfect vision, I had been blind-sighted on the previous day. It was at the end of my final check out dive for SCUBA certification.
