How to heal fully and properly.
Childhood
In the early stages of my reading career. I had the basic struggles that most have when learning how to read. Mispronounce this, mispronounce that until there were too many to count. As my classmates and I read the more I saw those around me improve and move forward as I stayed put. I still couldn’t read a single sentence without mispronouncing one word. One letter. One sound. This was preschool for me.

Eat. Pray. Love
They say you win and you lose some; I've been losing lately. I held Universe accountable for something I was fully responsible for, and so in the midst of feeling humbled, in the midst of feeling lost, I started to pray, I started to talk to Universe unwilling to listen, I screamed to hear the noise, not to find direction.

Dear, Me
Dear 11-year-old Me: You are so loved. You are so worthy of love. You were meant to be a kid, and you should have enjoyed this time as much as possible. You deserved that so much, and I know that it feels awful to have had some of that experience taken away from you. You learned things and experienced things at such young ages—at 3, 5, 7, 9, and now—that left you feeling lost. You were uprooted from a place you loved by a natural disaster and made to move to a place where you were bullied even more for being different.

Being Grateful the right way
I was going through the worst times of my life. I had huge setbacks, dealing with depression and anxiety, and it became practically impossible to think of a way ahead. However, as usual, I was given unsolicited advice to practise gratitude. I was told to be grateful. This drove me mad, and I thought it was rude and inconsiderate like I haven't tried it already. So I did some digging and google searching and all I could find was a plethora of articles on the miraculous benefits of being grateful.

Grieve and Grow
"But what is grief, if not love persevering?" This is my favorite line from the Disney+ series, WandaVision. Before watching it for the first time, I have never had my own definition of grief or I could never fully describe it. Now, I can. I can somehow relate to Wanda in the scene because she had been going through so much, and when she said "I'm just so tired," - I felt that and I cried so much. This scene is a really emotional one and it taught me to become comfortable with talking about how I feel. If you're an introvert, there must be some way that you could let out your thoughts and express yourself. I hope you have someone to listen to you because it will definitely, hopefully, make you feel better.
