Basic to Bikini: Why?
‘Do you win anything?’ was the first question I was asked when I told a friend I was going to compete as a bikini competitor. Surprisingly, this was not actually a common question, although I did expect it. I mean, why would anyone want to put their body through what I’m about to? But in actual fact, many of my family and friends were incredibly supportive; however, that’s not why I decided to do it. The ‘why’ is something I thought about a lot prior to deciding to compete. In fact, my ‘why’ is the one thing that has never faltered, even when I umm’d and ahh’d for months, going back over why I would want to sacrifice so much and put my body to the absolute test. And the truth is, that is what forms my ‘why’.

How to Have a Productive Year?
As we approach the end of 2019 and the holiday vibes setting in, I am sure many of us are hopeful and optimistic about 2020. We always step into a New Year thinking, “This will be the year I attain greatness,” and we work towards our goals the entire year. We write out our New Year resolutions, make promises for a better year, to try new things and that’s how the year ends. More often than not, by the end of the year we realize it’s really not working out the way we thought it would.

Why morning Rituals are important
Believe it or not, you already have a morning ritual and you didn’t even know it. Every day you follow a certain routine because you are a creature of habit. So why are you even reading this if you already have a ritual? Well the point of this blog is for you to learn how to use your rituals to change your life. I want you to finish reading this blog knowing that you have accomplished something and that is a new way of looking at your rituals. Let’s face it, rituals are necessary, & they get the job done in the morning. You get up and take a shower, get your kids ready or feed your pets. Maybe you make breakfast or skip breakfast, maybe you check your emails. The point is that every morning and every night you repeat just about the same routine. They are the things that get done no matter what and you rarely skip those steps after waking up.

How to create an intentions journal
I created my first intentions journal for 2019. It was the very end of 2018 and I was feeling like I wanted to make the most of the year ahead, but it was difficult to extract from my head what I wanted to focus my energy on. I had been reading a lot of Jen Sincero and Denise Duffield-Thomas and felt excited about the idea that I could manifest the life I wanted to live, I just needed to get clear on what it was. So I decided to create a journal to help me work through it all. I wanted to set myself some goals and give myself something to work towards throughout the year. So I made an intentions journal, and with us facing the dawn of another decade and with 2020 stretching ahead of us I decided to do the same this year too.

CHANGE YOUR PROGRAM
Have you ever stopped to think why you do what you do? Have you ever found yourself daydreaming, while driving, only to discover that you are now sitting in your driveway? Your mind is the most powerful thing known to man. The human mind is the most mysterious part of who we are. Philosophers, doctors, scientists, psychologists, have all debated as to the intricacies and function of this amazing phenomenon called “mind”. What we do know for sure is that the conscious mind is only able to process about 40 bits of information per second as opposed to the sun-conscious mind which is believed to be able to process about 20, 000, 000 bits per second. Although these numbers are debated amongst scientists what remains is the fact that the subconscious mind is exponentially more powerful than the conscious mind. This is how you can perform complicated tasks without even “consciously” thinking about it. This is how your heart can beat and your cells divide without any conscious effort on your part. It’s simply amazing!

My So Called Perfect Life
Living the perfect life can be tough and very much not for the faint of hearts. I should know as I have been striving for perfection all my life. Being perfect is exhausting but letting people see the real me is terrifying. I always have to appear as if my life is together and never let people know that I’m barely hanging on by a thread.

a little introduction/ introduktion/introduccion
You may be wondering why the title seems a bit off, translating the word introduction into Swedish and Spanish. Well, I share both genes in my blood and it’s part of who I am, which is why I want to incorporate a little part of me into every piece of writing. I want you to get to know me in a different way and that through my writing maybe your perception on some things may change or readjust. Maybe you’ll discover something about yourself you didn’t know?
