goals
Understanding your goals to help you achieve them.
New Beginnings, New Decade, New Life
As time goes by and your current reality is quite messy, it’s easy to get discouraged and want to throw in the towel. Life is a journey and no one every said it would be easy. Juggling kids who are depending on you to provide for their every need. Hustling constantly just to pay bills and debtors. Taking care of yourself and your home all on your own can cause a lot of mental stress.

new year, new goals.
last year was a year that taught me a thing or two. one of the main things that it taught me was that i give myself a lot of excuses and i’ve been a bit lazier than normal and i have nobody to blame but myself. i did a lot of things last year that i probably shouldn’t, but i has to learn. i had to grow and that’s what i plan on doing this year.

Use Friday’s Full Wolf Moon to Boost your New Years Resolutions
Moon magic is surprisingly accessible to people. A lot of it is tuning in to energies that already exist within nature and your body. We just get so caught up in the stresses of daily life that we hardly notice them. By tuning in to these energies, you can create magical results in your daily life.

You Only Think You Want to Be Rich
“Treasure what you have, not what you don’t.” — Dad I’ve always wanted to be wealthy, but I never looked at wealth as an end goal. I looked at doing good work, and raising brows with my writing. I wanted to make a difference and leave the world a better place than the one I entered.

Write here, write now
I loved to write. I still love to write. But I haven't consciously written for many years now. Back in the days of LiveJournal, Blogger, and when Wordpress was just starting out - around the turn of the millennium - I had a blog. It was real, it was honest, it was uncurated. Nobody knew me, except through my writing. And that allowed me to be relatable.

THE BOUGIE INSTRUCTOR
What a great rest stop! I was able to take a breather and reconstruct my thoughts on how I wanted to approach VARIABLE #6 of the Chain of Becoming & Staying Inimitable. If you missed out on the previous five variables, please, take the time to read my preceding stories.

Why New Years Resolutions Don't Work!
AS FAR AS I KNOW, JUST SETTING A NEW YEAR RESOLUTION DOESN’T EVER WORK (FOR ME ANYWAY). EVEN WHEN I WAS AT SCHOOL, I WOULD PROMISE MYSELF TO STUDY HARDER OR BE BETTER BEHAVED, THEN OTHER, MORE FUN THINGS ENTERED MY LIFE AND I FORGOT MY PROMISE TO MYSELF.

Life leaves its marks
Today was the last session of an applicant who wanted to change her life. She came to me wanting to have the choice and feel good about how she lived her life. When I asked her what she wanted a year ago she told me that she was drawn to me by something I had said. She wanted to live by a code, find the discipline to create a life that made her feel proud, and get out of the funk that had stayed with her for years. She is one of the few people who asked to purchase a bundle of coaching sessions up front. She told me she was serious and I have seen few people dive into new knowledge, exercises, and expressions of identity like her. Designing one's life and inventing oneself is what I call Guru Services and the product is you! What happened on her last session today made me proud of the work I do and the people I touch.

I'm playing a long game of Influence. How do I know if my influence is making a difference?
The worst kind of waste is the discarded actions we do not recognize as worthy. We have the capacity to learn from most experiences we participate in. This is a question I have been asked over the years many times by those seeking to plan out their influence strategies. As we begin working with people there's a need to meet the person where they are and feel what is being shared is meaningful. We all seek to help in different capacities and there's no shortage of opportunities to challenge us when we are actively participating in life. As long as you are encouraging the subject's best self and your own, creating good memories with people around you, and assisting people by sharing your knowledge, nothing that you do can be wasteful. Inspire the best in each other as you learn, teach, and have adventures. Service is a performance art and we offer it to each other daily. You can remain silent and have someone be grateful you made sure they were not alone.
