How to accomplish your resolutions in 2021
The covid-19 pandemic has changed perceptions and expectations of our own lives forever. We've canceled plans in every aspect we can think of. So it makes sense to hold off from the resolutions you make for every year, the ones we all seem to forget about as the weeks and months pass by.

A Healthy You Resolution
It's the beginning of the year again and let's be honest, I've been putting off the "start working out more" resolution for months because, well, 'the new year will be a good time to start' thought always delays my start time. But it's January and I couldn't make that excuse anymore. If you are like me, you feel guilty for not starting earlier, and well, you almost feel like maybe you should just push it off for another year.

How To Get Motivation When You're In A Slump
There’s that great business idea — the one you’ve been telling everyone about but you keep shelving it and waiting for “just the right time” to get it started. And there’s that fitness goal you set at the start of the new year. Yet, you have barely moved a muscle since you set it. What about that project that should be halfway done by now but you have not even started?

20-21 Days of January
It has been on my goal list of to-dos for the longest! Finally a new year! I am always excited for the new year because the cosmic calendar provides all sorts of inspiration that can maybe empower some of those inactive or left behind priorities. It is indeed time for a fresh start!

A Glimpse Of Hope
Today is the fisrt time I've felt this way. Its been years and years and the feeling is defintely quite new. I sometimes think to myself I always had this feeling inside. Deep down in me but for some reason I didnt want to let it out. "I used to be so ambitious" I would tell myself. "So eager to do things." I dont know what happend through all these years Ive been nothing but lazy. At times I feel like I became stupid.

Liar, Liar, Spark Desire
Do you know what you really, truly, honest-to-dog, want from life? Yeah, me neither (but if your answer was yes I'm super happy for you and please tell me your secret). Lately, I've had a rough time defining my desires. Rather, I've run a whole marathon of dropping desires, and am only now looking back on them as I desperately try to gulp willpower into my depleted lungs. This realization had led to some self-reflection and general philosophizing, which I'd like to share with you, whoever you happen to be. It seemed a fitting topic for my first story on here, as publicly sharing my writing has been one of my most frequently sought after and dropped desires.

I'm A Slob
I’m a slob. I have a guest room in my house, but it’s out of order because it’s knee deep in junk. My dirty laundry has been in the hamper for so long, it has a birthday. One would think I hoarder unopened mail with the piles of it dispersed throughout the kitchen. When I turn the fan on, a cloud of dust wafts off the book shelves. I don’t like living in filth, but I also hate cleaning. I’m not wealthy enough to hire a live-in butler, but I want my home to look like I can.

Confessions of a Over-Cluttered-Messy-Unorganized-Can't-Follow-Through-Forgets-Forgets-Suddenly-Remembers-and-Forgets-Again-Thirty-Something
I am a messy person. I am an unorganized person. Since I was a child I have been making little nests of items and never picking them up. My family lovingly (and sometimes with some frustration) calls these 'Chrissy piles'; a few books and a knitting project on one end table, a bag of tortilla chips, a water glass, and an embroidery project on another end table, my socks and dirty laundry after sorted by the kitchen table, a blanket and a large crochet project and my nintendoDS on the couch with me with are regular sights when I'm around.

2021
i’m not one to make new resolutions and i don’t think i ever really have been. i’m not sure whether it’s the pressure and responsibility that comes with them or maybe the fact that we never seem to follow through with such ideals. probably the latter to be honest.
