goals
Understanding your goals to help you achieve them.
Resolute
Every day can be a fresh start if one looks at it right. Leaving no stone unturned on the path of life may reveal the beauty of the world around that many take for granted when they ignore the splendors the natural state of the universe has created in the cycles of time. Changing one's life, changing one's perspective, and changing one's attitude come together in a resolution as we find our goals laying out before us the role we wish to fulfill in the better selves we hope, wish, and want to be.

Pheonix or Failure?
To understand my 2020 and therefore, my 2021, one must understand my 2019. I lived in a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath mobile home in the “Mojave” desert. It wasn’t much but it was the only home I had ever made my own, much less owned. Social anxiety, bp, and a host of other mental health issues can make steady income difficult. She wasn’t pretty, my trailer, but she did her job kept me warm and safe and kept pesky humans out. I loved her.

I Can See Into My Future
I am no psychic. Allow me to explain. Humans are always growing. Sometimes, we have seasons of stagnation, however long or short, but nevertheless, we are growing. No matter how long it takes the seed to mature into a living, breathing tree, it will occur as part of a natural process. Yet, in our human lives it seems so much more convoluted than that. We live in an age of such complexity, the point of mature growth is an uncertain concept. Are we ever really there? Do we ever stop growing or does it simply slow down with time? Is a man near death learning like a child who takes their first step?

Fearless 2021
This year I have made a decision to become fearless. Fearless of things I was scared of last year and even many years ago. Things such as not believing I have confidence to become a great actor, auditioning for a theater stage play, looking at my own performances etc. so with that being said I actually auditioned for a play this year and got the part. I was very nervous at the table read but the other actors were such great readers that It built more confidence in me to bring it out. Two or 3 years ago I auditioned for the same play but I did not have the confidence or experience that I have now. I could tell that the other actors knew as well but that was not the problem. The problem was that I felt in my heart that I was not prepared for the opportunity just yet. Even know I did not get that particular role I still kept my head up high and went on auditioning for small parts in student films, commercials and background in Hollywood films. Fast forward to this year I am now blessed to have gotten the opportunity to play another role in the same play. Being a Actor is a very tough job but fun job. I learned and is still learning that the more you ask questions while study your craft you will learn so much but at the same time you will notice things differently. Every particular actor will not have the same journey as others because that’s just how life is. I believe you have to really study the art behind acting to really understand what it is to be a great actor. That’s one of the biggest goals for me is to become a great actor. I know that I am on the right path from the research I am studying on the great actors before my time. Another thing I told myself I were going to do this year was read more instead of watching so much tv which is very important. I take helpful advice from mostly everybody not just people who are in a great place in their lives. You never know who you may run into or who may guide you in the right direction. It’s not good to go through life judging people from the outside. Not saying “ YOU” have to listen to everybody but that just how I feel about it. Most importantly you have to work hard. Talent only goes so far. You have to want it and know that you want it. If it were easy the whole wide world would be peaceful because everyone would be happy. Always remember that success is not a race it is a marathon. Just don’t ever quit because you might not know the next day you would’ve gotten your big break as in the opportunity you needed to get your foot in the door. From what I studied I know that many actors I watch today did not get their big break until they were in the thirties or forties, or maybe even fifty’s you just cannot give up. Something that is given to you either doesn’t last long or after a while it doesn’t feel right because no work was put it. But if you work really really hard for something the outcome of it feels great because you know that in your heart you deserve it. Today I am still a struggling actor but the journey of learning is a blessing. So stay focused, study, work hard, believe, and I am pretty sure you will get there. The end.

My new year and better me
So usually, when I say new year new me my resolution was to just lose weight, get better grades, etc etc. But, this year it was different. After losing my grandma I really took my life and flipped it at an angle. Now here I am, 16-years-old and my mind has been awoken. So let me tell you my about resolution and why.

A pinch of fairy dust and other secret lessons : The ultimate guide to a fresh start.. Top Story - January 2021.
And so it came... the grand finale we have all so eagerly anticipated. The old year has rolled around like an avalanche, crushing under it the normality of life we were so accustomed to and bringing forth a special opportunity. An opportunity to start fresh and begin again - this year, hopefully, equipped with more luck and less restraints.

Antartica to Africa: Strong Hearts and Iron Will
There has been a time when seagulls flying next to a vessel in the open ocean meant that land was near. Today, a little bundle of people crowding the bridge wing of a ship, holding their mobile phones high up in the air in a desperate attempt to reach signal would most likely have the same effect.

Goal Setter. Goal Getter.
2020, you’re dead to me. And yes, it’s personal. For the past five or so years, I’ve been an avid goal setter and goal getter. I love that feeling of crossing out a goal, knowing I completed it and giving myself that sense of “wow, you are a productive member of society.” Last year was no different. I was going to save money, travel more, find a great job, and get in the best shape of my life because damn it, I was turning thirty. Ha. Yeah. I didn’t achieve any of that. And I know I’m not alone. The worst year ever really maintained the consistency of spoiled milk that no one wanted to deal with, so they just left it in the fridge.

For the Time Capsule
Well, I think we can all agree that 2020 was an unprecedented year and, by far, the strangest one yet. A lot of the things I normally look forward to came to crashing halt -- movies, camping trips, concerts and the plans to finally travel somewhere since I have never been on a real vacation before.

Fresh Start ..Looking After Me
MIND,BODY, SPIRIT AND COMMONSENSE I actually quite like me.... I’m a good friend.. I hope a half decent mum of amazing adults a bit of a shonky wife of a quiet genius... but prone to flights of fancy and consuming vast quantities of potato chips and chocolate in all its wonderful forms. This probably isn’t helpful at the best of times. While in a working from home lockdown, it’s positively asking for trouble.

Serving the Community Food Line
My inspiration for serving the Foodline organization in Washington State started when I was a teenager. I was a part of a community service program. The community service program I was a part of set-up a day where we all loaded food boxes for the community. At first, I did not notice any feeling of excitement or joy. I realized later that the people receiving the food needed the food, which made me feel great because I helped people in need. After that, I felt that I helped people in need, which made me feel great! Later, over the years, I started to develop a goal that I wanted to have, which was to create a food delivery service that provided food for people in need and brought the food to the people in need. I still have not accomplished that goal; however, I did find an opportunity a while ago to go with a friend down to the local Foodline organization and donate my time to serve the community. The day was fantastic! We got together in a group at the organization and obtained detailed plans of actions for the day. Afterward, we washed our hands thoroughly and went over to the loading area. There were boxes of corn that needed a check for rot and checked for any significant damage, and it was all donated by farmers as sort of the corn surplus runts. There were plenty of other donated items throughout the facility; however, this was our task for the day.
