How To Find Courage
If you haven’t read the first in this series on gaining confidence, find or recommend it here. -- I have a working theory about courage, and I’ll share it with you. Keep in mind that I won’t know if this works until the end of my life, when it’s finally time to look back and there is no more moving forward (until, perhaps, there is). So we’ll just have to try this out and see how it goes.

Loud As Thunder
Hello again, it's been a little minute, rather late than never right? So hopefully everyone is staying safe and COVID free out there in the world. I definitely have, however how is your mental health? Don't be afraid to think about that for a minute because it's important and I've been monitoring mine as well lately. I chose to title this "Utopia" for a specific reason today, and not to mention I was binge watching a show by that name about-....you know what, it's a lot to type so I recommend looking it up on Amazon Prime (if you have it), but it's REALLY good and has some action while maintaining it's fictional qualities. Anyways, back to the M.O., when your thinking in your head, we all have thoughts and mostly pertaining to life. Whether good or bad, we're thinking about it and in the midst we think about how our life is presently or how it could be better ect. So my question to anyone reading this is, what's YOUR Utopia?

Sit Still, Look Pretty
Do you ever get to a point in your day, where if One. More. Person. Tells you that you would look prettier if you smiled, you will knock them back to the Stone Age? Hey! Same here! The bad news is that the” smile” line is part of a much deeper issue that I like to refer to as ”The Box”

Do Simple Better.
How often is it nowadays that we see people overreact to things? You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that people are overreacting to nearly everything on a daily basis. All you have to do is simply turn on the news(Yikes I said it) or open up your favorite social media app. Overreaction is all around us. Sometimes overreaction and outrage are justified, sure. But 9.9/10 it is better to be cool, calm, and collective. Or level-headed as I like to say. Not to get too deep down this rabbit hole but society and the culture today want us to be outraged. They want us to overreact and constantly be in a state of stress. Weird, huh? I thought they were supposed to inform and help us? Nope, welcome to 2020. Advertisers are always pushing us for the latest quick fix or claiming they have all of the answers to your most pressing problems. Unfortunately, we live in a world that pushes masks and social distancing over consistent and sustained health and fitness. We live in a world that pushes us every day to put a bandaid over a broken ankle. Nobody wants to talk about the basics and what will really help you because we're too scared to offend one another even if the advice could possibly save your life.

Spread Your Wings
Time to spread your wings Consider a chick in a nest high up in a tree watching its parents come and go with ease, launching and taking to the air with gentle grace, finding the currents and gliding or pushing the air with their wings to achieve balance in the unsupported environment. Imagine that chick growing a bit, day by day, at first just wanting the food that comes back with the parents but gradually it can move its head around and have a look past the edge of the nest, stretch up and peak and see a great big, baffling world beyond. It’s scary. But also gradually the chick develops a desire to do what his parents do as do all children. He wants to fly.

Passion Not Perfection
I'll take a passionate person over a perfect person every single day of the week and twice on Sunday's. What do I mean by perfect? I mean someone who either thinks they've made it or is comfortable with the success they've achieved thus far. The person who thinks they have all of the answers and isn't open to any sort of constructive criticism or help. You know the types of people I'm talking about.
