Art Can Save Us All
"Art has the power to render sorrow beautiful, make loneliness a shared experience, and transform despair into hope. Only art can take the holler of a returning soldier and turn it into a shared expression, a deep collective experience. Music, like all art, gives pain and our most wrenching emotions voice, language and form, so it can be recognized and shared. The magic of all art is the ability to both capture our pain, and deliver us from it at the same time."

Your Vulnerability is Your Strength
I don’t know about you, but I’m an incredibly vulnerable person. I’ve always worn (and still wear) my heart on my sleeve and this, I’ve never found it difficult to let people in. Until recently, I thought that wearing my heart on my sleeve and being such an open person was my harmatia; my fatal flaw. And when I got my heart ripped apart at the start of the year, I blamed myself and my nature. My first thought was that if I didn’t love so much, if I don’t fall so hard and if I didn’t share too much, then my heart would be hurting much less and I would be healing quicker.

Staying motivated during a pandemic
We’re legitimately living in a historic space. A global pandemic is upon us and it has completely slowed down our world to almost a standstill. For months, we’ve been cooped up into the house, and have been given small liberties and possibilities to go out to functions. This year has brought us much sadness, confusion, fear, and death. For there to be any form of motivation in 2020 would be that of miracles at times. However, there are means to stay motivated. As even though we have all slowed down, there is still a surge of effort and movement happening all over. How can you stay motivated during a global pandemic? I can give you a few ways I do so during this lawless year.

Umbrella Academy
If you need a Netflix show to watch, Umbrella Academy is a decent pick. It's fun, interesting, and pretty heartfelt. It has a good enough story line and development to keep you engaged. It follows a group of gifted siblings who learn to not only channel and use their powers for good but to actually become a family. Being all adopted by an extremely tough and somewhat astute father, these siblings grew up motivated by their gifted abilities thereby debilitating their relationship with one another. Will they ever become a family or remain more so as a boy band, bound to break up or go on a "hiatus"? (Looking at you 1D) It's basically a massive 'sibling check'.

That FOUR-LETTER Word
That Four-Letter Word FEAR. It’s crazy that a four-letter word is attached to such an enormous emotion! Fear can take ahold of us and pin us down like a chokeslam. What if we could break the hold, push through, and take a small step forward and through it? Well, maybe we could find ourselves feeling happier emotion like relief and accomplishment. I love those feelings! They are the coolest!

Being Self-Aware
Self-awareness is a key character trait that will improve your relationships with others and also improve your relationship with yourself. Having self-awareness shows that you also have the right personal values that will make it easier for you to get ahead in life in terms of your character. Achieving self-awareness takes a number of traits to embody such as showing wisdom by working to understand yourself and your own actions. You have to understand how your actions affect others, both positively and negatively, and to also take responsibility for those actions in both cases.

Why You Don’t Have Enough Confidence
I have had quite a few beautiful people ask me how I find the confidence to do the things I do (mostly regarding painting, singing, writing, and parenting). I used to tell them confidence was the key. But now that I have spent time thinking deeply on the question, I am not so sure it's the answer. In fact, I am quite sure it is not.

Stop Caring
One of the greatest hurdles we will ever have to overcome in life is our own mind. The mind is a powerful tool that has the capability to literally make or break us. But it's less about our own thinking and more about our perception of how others will receive our thoughts and ideas. How many times have you given up on an idea or not said something because you were worried about how others might receive and react to it? If you're anything like me this happens all the time. And why is that? Why do we care so much about what other people think about us? In my opinion, it comes down to our constant need to feel included within a group. We all want to feel like we belong to something or someone and often times that prevents us from becoming who we're meant to be.

I AM ABLE
One of the most powerful affirmations. The one that could just change your life. . I mean it's playing a major part in changing mines. Do you encourage positive thoughts? positive actions? Is it true that you can in fact think yourself crazy? because if that is the case then you can think yourself happy, talented, beautiful, wealthy. . Yes? Maybe?
