Who walks who?
When you walk the dog who walks who? Do you power walk and the dog must be by your side the entire time? Or do you let the dog sniff every nook and cranny? If the walk is for the dog ultimately then shouldn't you allow them to enjoy it? But this is just a metaphor as I was really referring to your brain. Learn to walk it and not let it walk you. The mind can be a beautiful and blissful place once you learn to silence the noise. If you can do this one thing every day at least once you'll surely be on your way to success. Every time your mind starts to wander pause and take a deep breath while slowly closing your eyes. focus your mind on the long slow incoming breath and then on the longer than normal slow exhale. In that moment if at no other time in the day your mind was completely focused for at least that one breath. Imagine with me what one conscious breath can do for you, that peace is on the other side waiting. Before long that one breath will turn into so much more and true peace from within will prevail. Here you will find your real happiness for it will never be satisfied in any other way. When your done looking out, look in and this breath technique is the beginning to bliss. Find your true inner peace and be happy, as happiness in contagious and your smile could change someone's life. Be the change you want to see in the world for it all starts within you. Approach life mindfully from the heart and all good things will come. When you find that peace you will find the stresses of the world are no longer an issue. This is what one conscious breath can do for you.

Lag in many ways has taken over the human population. Our bodies are so run down they are always lagging. We are constantly angered all the time with the lag in our lives. Whether it be cell lag, streaming lag or jet lag they are all the same. We as the human race have become so impatient and entitled that we let a little bit of a delay ruin day. We have allowed the little things in life to ruin our minds. Constantly thinking about the things we can't change. We all need a reboot, just like the computer over time gets run down and a simple reboot usually resolves the issue. Our bodies need a reset, we need to get back to the basics. We over complicate everything and force ourselves to be run down and over worked. Why do we do this to ourselves, why do we allow ourselves to get so run down before we take notice? We need to listen to our bodies for they are the most complicated, sophisticated and powerful machines on the planet. Yet most never pay any mind to the greatest invention of all, US. We know more about so many things yet we never learned about ourselves. Take the time to discover the beauty within, there is so much to be found. You are a special soul, we all are and we forget that when we let life run us over. Take back the control of your life and start living. Start finding your passions again, why do we forget to do the things we love? Why do we let our work dictate the velocity of our life? Is it laziness or fear of the unknown that keeps you from doing what you love? What stops you from waking up everyday with a smile ready to tackle the world? What stops you from make the choices that will make you happy? What stops you from being you?

3 THINKING ERRORS THAT HOLD BACK CREATIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING.
Most people, when approaching a problem, particularly when the problem is outside of your comfort zone, get stuck and retreat from finding a new solution and resort to using tried and tested methods that may or may not be applicable to the problem in hand.

Bitterness And Resentment
When someone hurts us, breaks our heart, embarrasses us, rejects us, criticizes us, or maybe just inconveniences us, quite often our reaction is one of bitterness and anger. We too often have this urge to get even, wanting to retaliate and get revenge, by causing some hurt, embarrassment, or inconvenience, on them in return. We feel low, we feel sad, we feel unhappy, we feel betrayed, and we feel nothing but resentment and bitterness towards that person. I can honestly say I have, for too long, been on of those people, and one thing I have started to learn in life, is exactly what today's quote reads. I sure am working on myself to get better in this area, as I know how it has negatively impacted me, over these years. Harboring bitterness and resentment inflicts no pain, hurt, embarrassment, or inconvenience, back on that other person whatsoever. As far as physically plotting and executing a plan to get revenge, well that's not going to make things better or right either, despite what we may believe. Plus, two wrongs do not make a right, after all. The only outcome that results from constantly feeling bitterness and resentment, is we actually start inflicting more pain, suffering, misery, and hurt, upon ourselves. How many times have you been in the situation where harsh words were perhaps spoken between you and another person, where many harmful and derogatory words were exchanged, which ended up becoming extremely personal and hurtful? Following the disagreement, you walked away feeling extremely angry, hurt, bitter, and maybe you even ended up in tears. Then, over the next few days, that same event plays over and over in your head, and you start thinking of all the different things you should have said to better defend yourself, or you should have worded differently, or perhaps things that could have inflicted more hurt back on them. How many times has this happened to you? So, how do you feel in these moments? You continue to feel angry, hurt, upset, and even regretful, of course, but now have a think of what these feelings are doing to you mentally.

The Carwash Effect
The Carwash effect đ Come out better than when you went in. At lunch one afternoon an incredibly wise man gave the person sitting next to me this piece of advice. âIt doesnât matter where you start, it matters where you end up.â The reason he was giving this guidance was because he was offering the person a position in his company. The person being offered the job felt it was beneath him and all his years of experience. He kept saying that he didnât want to take a step backwards, that he was far too experienced, and was used to being the lead and not an assistant. Still the wise man kept reiterating the same advice. âIt doesnât matter where you start, what matters is where you end.â The man refused the position and took another job that paid much less but where he was top dog. Less than a month later he heard the news that the lead man at the other company had stepped down and his assistant was now taking his position. The man was distraught, seeing that the job paid twice as much as the one he accepted. I reminded him of the manâs words which were a hint at what was coming. âIt doesnât matter where you start, itâs where you end up.â You see the wise man knew the lead would be resigning but wasnât at liberty to release that information yet. He was offering the assistant position knowing it wouldnât be long until a promotion would take place. The man not willing to accept a lesser place missed out on the best.

Last week we (in Ireland) celebrated the pagan Celtic feast of âImbolcâ. It is the second of four fire festivals that mark the beginning of a new season â Samhain/winter, Imbolg/spring, Bealtaine/summer, and Lughnasa/autumn.

As a musician, I have had so many different experiences with music that I feel there are some ideas that could explain why i love the music that I do, and hopefully you can pull some ideas too and figure out more about who you are.
