Hocus Pocus
I want you to stop whatever it is you’re doing right now, sit still, close your eyes and inhale for one second and exhale for two ten times. See, when you closed your eyes, it eliminates visual distractions; when you sat still, it relaxes your muscles (or at least most of them); when you took deep breaths, it set your mind to concentrate on that single task. That, my friend, is focus.

Motivation: The Great Misconception
I used to believe in motivation. Not anymore. People are often unaware of just how dangerous settling or simplifying an idea or a way of life can very well be. As an immediate gratifying society, we tend to implore ourselves into mindlessly believing that everything and anything is merely seen from one vocal point, disregarding the remaining 359 possibilities it could have turned out otherwise. It is a lot like leaving an infant in the middle of the jungle, a haunting uncertainty of an outcome.

The Awakening
One in 400 trillion is the chance of being human. How can you not be baffled by this?! You have been blessed with the opportunity and privilege to live for roughly 79 years, which is 28,835 days to seek and discover the heart's desires. According to NY Post, the average time spent sleeping is 6.93 hours, plus an average of 3.93 hours awake in bed, totaling 10.86 hours each day. Half of the number of hours given in a day and roughly 165 days in a year wasted in little to no productivity. Based on human life expectancy, that would be 13,035 days or about 36 years of sleep.

Own It
A wise man named Gary Vaynerchuck once said: “Comfort is a drug. Comfort is where dreams go to die.” All our lives, the default we've all known was to enjoy your childhood, go to school, get to a good university or college, get a stable job, retire at 65 and enjoy the remaining days in the hourglass.
