Once upon a time my biggest fear was being influenced by anyone at all. The saying about being yourself because there’s no one better to be, though true, must’ve sunk a little too far into my mind – maybe boiled pieces of it here and there while it was at it. Overnight, I randomly believed that I was one for myself, expected to take on a journey without anybody by my side in order to reach the dreams I aspired to live within in reality. For better or for worse, the influence of anybody was something I was better off avoiding if anything was going to work out for me.

Can Fate Be Defeated by Wisdom?
I'm a typical Asian girl, and I have beliefs inherited from my culture. To name a few, astrology, horoscope, and numerology. We read horoscopes as soon as a new baby is born. We are even curious to know when we will die. A little strange, isn't it?

This isn’t going to be easy
"The pain you feel today, will be the strength you feel tomorrow." Day 2-5: December 6th 2021 So if you saw my last post "The Beginning of My New Fitness Journey" than you'll know I've decided to blog my process. I figure it would be something good for me to look back on, and I also hope that it will reach at least on person and help them too. Everyones journey looks different, but I think we all face some of the same struggles no matter what path we are on.

People Never Listen To These 25 Great Pieces Of Advice

However, if you allow your ego to get the best of you, you may miss out on some excellent advice.

Why the Noble Eightfold Path is Worth Practicing
Why the Noble Eightfold Path is Worth Practicing Initially followed as a practice of Buddhism, the noble eightfold path has become an everyday way of living for those who want to be kinder and more positive in everything they do. The various elements of this path help people connect with themselves on a deeper level while becoming more empathetic and understanding to others. Therefore, if you choose to follow this path, you can live a more fulfilling life of kindness and compassion that gets you further than anger, hatred, and jealousy ever would in this world.

This is what I learned after ten years working in the IT industry
--- It's about to be a decade since this journey of becoming a software engineer began. I started out throwing myself into it. Like a lot of us (IT guys) in the beginning, I was far from having a proper education. Rather, I barely knew how to make a piece of code actually run.
