The week by week gatherings are around the same time every week. The calls to the accomplices and customers all over the planet are essentially simultaneously and frequently rotate around similar issues. Projects change however the work expected to finish them is repetitive.

Slipping Off by a Thread
I sat looking down at the tattered and worn thread sticking out from my yellow chair. It was waving back and forth as it poked up at me through the neatly woven pattern, refusing to lay flat and blend in with the rest of them. How had I not noticed this before? It felt uncomfortable to see something so out of place surrounded by my neatly organized and contained house. My chair sat catty-cornered in my room, exactly three feet, from my made bed. My floors were swept, vacuumed, and moped daily. My pictures hung perfectly straight and were leveled to the exact degree. My pillows on my bed, couch, and chair all matched and were always in the right order. My closet contained clothes that were both color coded and arranged for each season.

Feeling Vulnerable
Proud to say lately it hasn't been hard to be optimist in the midst of everything not always going as I planned. Proud to say I've learned how to release the need to control or manipulate situations way better than before. Proud to say, when going through an emotional storm I'm able to ride out the harsh waves and ease my mental with some form of release. That could be through typing, writing, painting, drawing, meditating with music, sitting at my alter, sleeping (hahahaha ok that's not a release it's my favorite escape) but none the less I've gotten better at allowing the emotions to flow through me instead of settling down making a home. When they use to get comfy and reside within me and move upstairs to the mental department I'd completely shutdown. Shut people out including my kids, it was bad. Now communication plays it part and I tell them "mommy needs space, I don't feel good so I'm going to relax and then we can do something".
