Story Abstract

A wise woman in India taught a powerful lesson through her daily ritual of creating a beautiful and colourful rangoli in front of her home. She would carefully arrange the pieces of coloured powder in intricate designs, taking time to appreciate the process and the beauty of her work. Through this activity, she was able to reflect on her life and the lessons she had learned, all the while boosting her confidence. This story was an inspiring reminder of the importance of taking the time to appreciate the little things and reflecting on one's own life and the lessons they have learned. This wise woman's example can be a source of motivation and encouragement when life gets tough. Taking the time to appreciate the small moments and to look back on the lessons that have been learned can help to bring clarity and joy to any situation.

Deep into the story

Recently, I was in need of some inspiration and I had endured a difficult experience in my life and I was struggling to cope with it. But, as luck would have it, I stumbled upon a video on YouTube that ended up being just the tonic I needed. The story focused on a wise woman living in India, particularly in the south. Every morning, she would wake up and embark on her daily duties, then set about creating a beautiful and colourful rangoli in front of her home. This process often took her several hours and, sometimes, she would even opt for a simpler white floral design that required less effort.

She spent time carefully crafting each design, from selecting the colours to placing the petals and embellishments in the right place. As she worked, she reflected on her life and the lessons she had learned. After completing her design, she would share it with her family's WhatsApp group and the rangoli was always met with praise and admiration.

One day, her rangoli was so splendid that it received unanimous praise and admiration from the group. This prompted a conversation between her and a family member, who asked why she didn't make the rangoli permanent by painting it on the wall. In response, she explained the lessons she had learned from the activity. She said that she was able to observe a gradual improvement in her work each day and that the process had boosted her confidence. She also noted that all rangolis only remain valid for 24 hours, just like many other things in life.

This story was incredibly inspiring to me and it helped me to find peace with my difficult situation. I'm thankful for the powerful message behind the colourful rangoli and all the wisdom it imparted to me. I was reminded of the importance of taking the time to appreciate the little things and reflecting on my own life and the lessons I have learned. It was a timely reminder that it is the small things that often make the biggest impact.

Outcome

I was reminded of the importance of taking the time to appreciate the little things and reflecting on my own life and the lessons I had learned. It can be easy to get lost in the hustle of everyday life, but it is essential to take a step back every now and then to truly recognize and appreciate the small moments that can make such a big difference. The story of the wise woman reminded me of this very idea. Her rangoli was a powerful example of how something seemingly small and temporary, such as a piece of art, can have a lasting effect. It was a reminder to me that life is full of lessons, and that I should take the time to appreciate and recognize them, no matter how minuscule they may seem. By taking the time to recognize and reflect on the small moments, we can open ourselves up to a much greater understanding of the world around us.
