Things Confident People Say
In many ways, confident people can talk without thinking as much because they have confidence. Insecure people don’t have this luxury because they are constantly worried about what others think. Confident people don’t waste their time worried about the opinions of others. We have spent a lot of time thinking about the things confident people say as if they were to give advice to the less confident. Some of the tips below are what they would say, but they are also things confident people do naturally. Confident people are masters at giving advice to others; so, here are the things confident people will recommend to insecure people to do in order to become more confident.

Brutal Honesty
I think the first thing is to acknowledge who you are no matter what. See, in todays society, it's really hard to feel good about yourself. Why? Well, how many times have you heard that you are special? That you are going to change the world, that you have the most beautiful face, that people can't understand your genius, or God knows what else. How many times have you scrolled on Instagram for hours in your bed and couldn't help, but think what a boring and ugly life you have compared to all these other people who all seam to be in fucking Bahamas. That perfect crystal clear water that is missing from your Instagram feed so much or the damn turtles. Let me tell you something, if a studio would ever make up a dream set (Maldives beach) and charge for the photo there would be a one month waiting list for the fake photo with the little lights.

Your 20s can be some really weird years. They're the years where you're trying to learn how to be an adult, but you don't quite know how to be an adult yet. I Believe in Nashville, Because It Kept Me Alive
This "I Believe In Nashville" mural is a staple in literally just about every single person's trip to Nashville (especially you, bachelorette parties). Of course, I had to take a photo in front of it as well to post to mark my two years of living in Nashville (shameless plug for you to see this post on my Instagram @patrickweaver).

Fear of Greatness
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."-Marianne Williamson

Homesickness
It all started in the eighth grade. All she wanted back then was to move far, far away. Don't get it twisted, it wasn't like she was unhappy, in fact, she was very content with her life at that time. But she always had this underlying desire to live a different life. Just to see what it'd be like. It was when she confessed these yearnings to her father did her fantasies become reality.
