Being Alone Doesn't Mean You're Lonely
For years, I was just like any other middle schooler/high schooler. I had friends and a good base of support. That changed, though, sophomore year and my friends became my bullies. To this day, I have no clue as to why my whole friend group (as well as complete strangers) turned on me. They won't even give me or authorities involved in the matter a reasoning for their attacks on me and emotional abuse. This bullying continued until senior year, when I decided to completely isolate myself from everyone. I figured if I'm not close to anybody that nobody had the opportunity to hurt me. While that was true, it also gave me the opportunity to hurt myself without being aware of the fact that I was doing so.

Death of the Dreamers: The Pursuit of Happiness
A few years ago, when a lot of my friends left for university, I stayed behind. A lot of you may already know why. For those who don't, the TL;DR is, I was incredibly depressed and didn't think going to university was the best option for me, nor did I think it was safe. Yes, another depressed millennial, trust me I wish I was different too, but I digress.

Ways to Make Your Life Better Today
If you want to make your life better today, it isn’t that difficult. To improve your life, you can take small actions that will make a bigger impact than you may think. If you focus on the bigger picture and spend your time lamenting on how awful your life is and how long it will take to make it better, then you’re never going to feel happier or even the slightest bit fulfilled. Sometimes, all it takes is focusing on the one day in front of you.

What Two Popular Self-Help Books Can Tell Us About Self-Improvement, Personal Growth, and Increased Productivity
Walk into any book store, and you will find countless books on self-improvement as well as how to increase productivity in both life and business. Because of the endless supply of resources, it can be a bit daunting to put such concepts into practice. However, if you have areas in which you need improvement that require either building up your character, your discipline, or even little behaviors in the workplace, then you may want to consider adopting some of those concepts into your life.

Living a Comfortable Lifestyle or Just Making Ends Meet
I often ask myself the same question over and over again. How much money do I need to make to live comfortably? It’s a different answer for everyone, but why does it really have to be a different answer? Don’t we all have the same wants and needs as everyone else? Apparently not. Depending on how you grew up you’ll become accustomed to live a certain way. Some people do make enough to live comfortably but continue to live beyond their means. Whereas, there are others that make more than they ever need and continue to horde away their money.

Having Trouble with Forgiveness? Self-Love? Acceptance?
We all harbor some kind of hurt in our conscious and subconscious mind. Whether it's from the past or present, it can block the energy flow of your chakras. When there is a deficit or excessive flow of energy it can manifest a disease or one can become very possessive, for example.

Things Not Said Aloud
You can’t tell me kids don’t have it hard, too. Sure, our struggles are different and almost nothing compared to the average adult struggling to pay taxes on time and making payments before the end of the month, but our struggles are still valid and our struggles are very real to many of us, regardless of how others may perceive them. I and many others like me will face many hardships where we are. These hardships range from stressing over next Friday's quiz or asking that cute boy for his Snapchat to worrying over prom dates or submitting applications and resumes before deadlines. At least that's what we all want you and want many of our parents, friends, and doctors to think and see.

How to Battle Your Holiday Stress
December. Loved by many. Hated by just as many. To those who love it, it's a time where it's a winter wonderland—full of wonder and adventure. However, for us, less fortunate souls, 'tis the season that causes the most stress—everything from the bone-chilling temperatures (at least compared to what summer months bring) to finals approaching if you're a student to money issues due to dwindling funds because it's the end of the year and the holiday season to sickness that just seems to hit all of us at some point.

4th of July in the Hills of Montana
I have been very lucky so far in my short life to have been blessed with the opportunity to travel, and have had many unexpected and transformative adventures. On one such day, I found myself at the house of a friend of a friend of a grandma’s friend on the 4th of July up in the hills of a tiny rural town in Montana. There was beer and fireworks and food to feed thousands, which was lucky, considering that there seemed to be thousands of people there.

Today I Was Happy
Today I was happy. Truly happy and content. Even the horrible anxious thoughts that tried to penetrate my tired brain, I just brushed them away like they hadn't been burdening me all my life, and I genuinely thought I need to scream this to the world that I am happy today. Because I genuinely thought it's about damn time.
