I CAN

The Power of Positive Reinforcement

An interesting turning point can occur, when a person chooses to use courage instead of fear to dictate their learning journey.

A further interesting turning point, is when a person chooses to believe in the power of Can, instead of choosing doubt, as an automatic replacement for Can.

Self permission is magnificent example of how both of these strategies can work together, and if performed regularly, they have the genuine power to lift and revitalize energy, and in turn, self confidence can bloom.

A person must also be ready to want to experience such a turning point too, and even if one person may prove that this strategy to be easy, another person may equally prove how challenging the same strategy can be, if a block is granted permission to remain in place.

A person can fast realize that the power of Can, is only as powerful as the same person allows Can to be. Therefore, a person has the ability, depending on their own want, need and desire, to either grant Can power, or dismiss Can like a candle lit flame, so easily extinguished.

A person is the maker of their own decision, and each of us possess the power of self prerogative. The power of Can will always be available, free and ready for use when ever a person chooses to engage it. So, why do so many choose Can't instead, and what is so attractive about Can't, leading many to believe in its power?

The answer is self confidence.

Yet, which comes first, the power of Can, or the self confidence in which to use Can?

Can must firstly be believed, before it can be converted into self confidence, because without belief, a person has little in which to base hope upon, and without hope, self confidence has little way of being supported, like a house frame that resides upon foundations, supporting the entire structure.

The power of Can, has the power to perform magic, while the magic depends entirely on the person in charge of the illusion.

A good magician may never reveal their tricks, while the power of Can, only has one trick to reveal, suspension of disbelief.

So, why do we find Can't so easy to revert to?

What is it about Can't, that makes it so appealing?

Is it because Can't is too convenient, while Can requires effort?

Perhaps, we have become addicted to the notion of Can't, and as an old rule can state, if we practice repeating Can't for twelve weeks consecutively, is there a possibility that Can't can become habitual?

If that be the case, why then can't the power of Can reflect a similar pattern?

Perhaps, it may also be part of the way our world is changing today, in that, many situations only provide a three month duration before something or someone shifts, and consistency becomes a luxury.

It isn't uncommon to witness eye browse raising, when someone mentions that they've been at the same work place for more than twenty years.

The question is, how can anyone ensure that the power of Can, can be celebrated if/when so much uncertainty serenades much of society today?

The truth is, it's up to the individual to embrace the power of Can, and only the individual has the power to make Can possible.

There is one advantage of so many choosing to deny the power of Can, and that is, those who do choose to embrace it, usually stand out from the crowd.

Only one draw back from standing out from the crowd, and that is, being mistaken for a tall poppy.

Basically, those who embrace the power of Can, also need to develop a thick skin.
