How to Change Your Life By Taking Charge
Make minor changes for major results.

Are you comfortable with the way you are living? Are you satisfied with what is going on in your life right now? If you said “No” to any one of those questions, please continue reading.
Would you like to make a change in your life? Or are you waiting for things to “just happen?” If you said “Yes” to any one of these questions, please continue reading.
While some minor things might just happen, sometimes you have to jump right in and take charge to make a change.
1. Make Good Choices
If you have not been productive, take charge to make a change by making good choices and wise decisions. Stop relying on what others tell you to do, and learn how to make good choices yourself.
2. Renew Your Mind
Too often, people don't make a change in their lives because they are stuck in the past. That's because they say, “I've always done it that way” or “That's the way it always happens to me.” Change will never come if you hold onto those beliefs. You must change your mind about things before they will manifest.
A transformation will occur in your life only when your mind is renewed. With a renewed mind, you can overcome fears, doubts, and misgivings. With a renewed mind, you can walk in total faith.
3. Don't Imitate Others
The worst thing a person can do is to imitate others. While we are all God's creatures, we are not all alike. God created us all with different personalities, talents, gifts, likes, and dislikes. All snowflakes look the same and feel the same when we touch them, but no two snowflakes are exactly alike, and neither are we.
You can be inspired by others and learn from them, but do not neglect your core values and beliefs. Do not believe someone else is living a better life than you are. While you are imitating others, they might be imitating someone else. Therefore, no one knows who anyone really is because they are all lost in the circle of “people imitating people.”

4. Respond to the Changes in Your Life
Keep the right attitude about change. Make change without thinking it is wrong. Change happens to all of us. The seasons change four times a year, and so do the leaves on trees.
Every 24 hours, the day changes into night. Babies grow up to be toddlers, then toddlers group up to be older as teenagers, young adults, adults, and finally senior citizens. In other words, people were not created to remain the same. We are much better off when we accept those life changes.
5. Have a Good Support System

Don't make the mistake of thinking you must have dozens of people in your support system. A support system should offer help, advice, guidance, and genuine support. A good support system should consist of only a few positive people. You should have a support system where everyone gets along not only with you but with one another.
No one wants a support system where people get angry, bicker, and argue. Include those who will help you, give you wise advice, guide you in the right ways, and genuinely support you. That's why it is called a “support system.”
6. Listen to the Voice of God
When you hear the voice of God telling you what to do, do it, even if you don't understand it. God will never steer you in the wrong direction. Remember that God said many times, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)

If you follow the aforementioned suggestions, you will notice that minor changes will develop into major changes. Take charge of your life to make changes in your life.
