The Final Transit
The transit of Uranus through Taurus is almost over
The long and painfully slow transit of Uranus through Taurus began in 2018 and it is almost complete with it's nearly 8 year stay in the sign of Taurus. It has not been an easy transit, especially for those under the sign of Taurus. Uranus is a bringer of change, but not in a nice, "ease into it" kind of way. Uranus pushes the boundaries and forces change to occur, pulling people of of their comfort zones and forcing a lot of painful realizations and decisions. This is not just on a personal level either, it affects things on a global aspect, which makes sense if you consider all of the upheaval that has occurred in society since the transit began in 2018.
To better understand how life-altering this transit can be on a global scale, consider the previous Uranus through Taurus transits in history. The last time this transit took place was from 1935 - 1942. Those familiar with history will understand why those years are so significant. There were some global impacting events taking place, including the Great Depression and WWII. There are also several other substantial events that coincide with the Uranus through Taurus transit, including:
- 1767 - 1775 - The US Revolution was taking place.
- 1850 - 1859 - The admission of California as a "free state" and the lead up to the Civil War.
Each of these time periods mark moments of great change with global impacts, and this current transit has been no different. Since Uranus takes several years to pass through each sign, many people will only experience this upheaval once in their lifetime. While every sign feels the pain of this transit in a considerable way, for those who are born under the sign of Taurus, that discomfort is multiplied. For the Taurus, change is not something that comes easy, nor is it generally a welcome visitor. The Bulls are known to be immovable and stubborn. They desire stability and comfort in all aspects of their lives. Uranus throws all of that into disarray and this is very unpleasant for all, but definitely for the Bulls.
This transit has been particular jarring since it has set forth such a dramatic change to society globally. From the first modern pandemic raging around the globe to the intense shift in political climate causing chaos and protests far and wide. It would be an understatement to say this transit period has been a wild ride. As the final year of this excruciating transit begins, there is truly no way to know where things will be as it concludes in 2026. It likely has more chaos to unleash and change to force, which every sign should buckle up for. There are some ways to help make this final year of the transit easier mentally for every sign, including:
- Taking time for yourself often, since this transit seeks to push change and realizations, listen to yourself and take advantage of what your inner self may be saying.
- Meditate often to release tensions and stress that you may be feeling.
- Write out the various personal changes and feelings that you've had during this transit to help make sense of them and where the Universe may be guiding you.
- Breath. Just breath, and take it one day at a time.
While this transit has likely been the start of tremendous change and pandemonium for many, it will pass. It is important that those experiencing extreme difficulty during this transit remember that it is okay to not be okay. It is okay to survive one day at a time. This transit will end soon and once it completes its reign of chaos, hopefully the calm after the storm will begin... once the dust from everything settles. This is the final countdown to Taurus' freedom from Uranus, and it is sure to continue shaking things up for the next year, so be prepared and hold on tight!
