Let me start by saying I don’t have any pets. I’m a selfish mofo who can barely handle taking care of myself. My office pet is technically my sister’s office pet who I steal time with being that my sister & I work in the same office ‘space’ (our rented home).

TRIGGER WARNING: THIS POST EXPLORES THE DEPTHS OF MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS; INCLUDING, TO SOME POINT, SUICIDE AWARENESS. September 10 of each year is World Suicide Prevention Day in order to raise awareness for mental health; especially for the signs of those around us who may be toying with the notion of suicide. I will have to get more personal than usual about this subject in this piece. You may read something that resonates with you; you may even read something that makes you feel uncomfortable.

Mental health.
At primitive ages when human was not much into technology and science they were much concerned about their physical health, because they had to fight wars so thats why they prefered men with bulk and fitness.Today we have discovered much science and about human body and after many centuries human found that mental health is also a thing that needs to be look after. If you want to kill a man with torture the best way is to torture with mental thing. He will eventually become so weak by his brain that after that he will refuse to accept any thing that was the resistance between you and him.Death by torture is the most painful thing human ever experienced.Anyhow I was discussing about mental health.Today we see a lot much depressed, stressed and anxious people than ever before.

The Effect of Diet on your Mental Health
Our diet and mental health are linked. However, there is a correlation between what we eat and how we feel, according to the study. What we eat has an influence on our brain. Some foods can improve our mood. A Mediterranean-style diet that includes plenty of vegetables, seafood, fresh herbs, garlic, olive oil, cereals, and grains, as well as fish oil, can help to alleviate depressive symptoms.

THE DIABOLICAL DOUBLE Consciousness
Adolescence is life between childhood and adulthood. It starts with physical maturity and ends when the adult reaches independent status. Adolescence begins with puberty, a time when a boy or girl matures sexually. With puberty comes a period of increase in hormones, rapid physical development, most of the time beginning at age 11 in girls and age 13 for boys. During this period of growth, the primary sex characteristics – the reproductive organs and external genitalia-develop dramatically. So do secondary sex characteristics, the non-reproductive traits such as breasts and hips in girls, facial hair and deepened voice in boys, pubic and underarm hair in both sexes.

If you're a Millennial like myself, you probably have a good portion of your social media life dedicated to having shared memes. You probably have your fair share of mental health struggles as well because Millennials, am I right?

Boundaries: Their Importance And How to Set Them
Every person in this world creates a certain type of personality from the very moment their mind starts to grasp the things around them. Hence, we all have things that we like and that we despise, no matter if they are masked behind our reactions or not. These things can exist at the physical level (f.e liking a certain car), but the most important ones for every one of us stand at the psychological level (f.e liking/disliking a certain behavior).

The pandemic has affected a lot... Don't forget to stay on top of your mental health during the chaos.
With a lot of places coming back with COVID lockdown and restrictions, it seems like we might be on our way back to being inside more than we normally would be. During the pandemic in 2020, there were numerous articles discussing the mental health of people while being cooped up with themselves, roommates, loved ones, etc... I don't believe it will be as strict this time around, but with another wave of lockdowns and mask mandates, it's a good idea to be more aware of how we are when we are cooped up and made to sit with ourselves and our thoughts for hours at a time.

Involuntary
She hadn’t learned to swim. Childhood was more focused on fingers crossed that her lunch-lady mom hadn’t brought home the rubbery meatloaf she’d had already “eaten” that day. She never had a bike; she never got to see her favorite boyband in concert, the latter of which she regards as a significant cruelty. Days were spent in survival mode- training her brain that moments of quiet are suspect, that anything resembling tranquility only means that malevolence is brewing. She developed a neck-tick to compliment her leg twitch. Her body thrashed to prevent her from screaming.
