Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
Understanding of PCOS

Women's health is very valuable, because it is more sensitive because directly or indirectly it depends on hormones. Understanding and awareness of PCOS is very important now.

Try to diagnose problems when women are unable to conceive naturally or when a teenage girl has irregular periods and is diagnosed with PCOS/PCOD. At that point in life she will eventually panic and start looking for a quick fix. If you are still unsure about PCOS, some symptoms can clear your mind about it. PCOS is the result of an anovulatory cycle, which causes a hormonal imbalance. Hormonal imbalances can also cause mood swings. Irregular or no ovulation is a major risk factor for pregnancy. People who want to conceive are very afraid of it.
First of all, understand that Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is not a disease but a condition of the uterus caused by an anovulatory cycle. If you have been diagnosed with such a condition, don't panic.
The first thing that comes to our mind is what went wrong and we are in this situation, the answer here is not easy. Since this question seems to be an open-ended question, the answer varies from person to person. One should first try to find the culprit by introspection.
Factors affecting our health :
Let's observe our own routine and lifestyle including eating habits. When our digestive system warns us of bloating, indigestion, we need to start acting smart by eating more fiber-rich foods and avoiding junk food altogether. When digestion is affected, all the good nutrition is not absorbed into the blood and as a result our body cannot deliver it to the organs of the body which affects their function.
Hormones are the most sensitive thing in our system, they can be easily disturbed by stress, sedentary life or lack of exercise, junk food, certain drugs, past or present health problems. The ovary releases the egg only when the pituitary gland releases progesterone, estrogen hormones in balance. It's easy to figure out where we're going wrong, if it's a lifestyle problem, then the solution is also simple
Most women with a sedentary lifestyle and stressful work culture are prone to this condition. The reason behind this is that when we sit in one position for a long time, the blood flow in our body is affected. Always remember that it is very important to have good blood flow in your body throughout the day . This can easily be understood from the example of bone fracture patients who have plaster casts and immobilized arms/legs for several days, requiring mobilization and treatment and massage. At first they feel some pain and numbness in the area. This is due to lack of blood flow to that particular area. Similarly, your uterus has small tubes and veins that need a good amount of blood flow to prevent them from becoming swollen and bulky.
Steps to minimize PCOS :
A woman who has PCOS and does not know it for years is due to complete ignorance and requires timely treatment. Because every month this condition affects your health in many ways and it becomes difficult to get out of this condition. Never think that you will recover 100% and then start planning for a baby, because it will not recover 100% and it is always better to plan for pregnancy early because age and egg quantity and egg quality are equally important.
Step 1 – Yoga & Exercise : Yoga has healing powers. All stretching exercises, including yoga, have a wonderful effect on the body. Remember that exercising or yoga early in the morning gives the best results. After exercise, the body begins to pump more blood throughout the body, consequently swelling on parts starts reducing.

Step 2 – Meditation : Meditation is best way to avoid or minimize stress. It helps to focus and distract from outside thoughts.
Step 3 – Diet : Eating fiber rich diet is very important to keep the colon clean. Say no to junk food completely and see the results. The amount of protein should be taken into account in our daily diet plan, because the form in which we are consuming protein, raw or cooked, plant-based or vegetable-based, and its quantity, should all be taken into consideration.
Step 4 – Ayurveda : Some Ayurvedic herbs like Ashokarishta, Ashwagandha, Triphala, Neem etc. are really helpful in curing PCOS. Women who want to conceive should limit intake of Ashokrishta during conception period. Panchakarma Ayurvedic therapy is the first step to cure PCOS. Panchakarma completely detoxifies your body and opens the blood vessels for smooth blood flow.
