Fly through the veil with the Crow Tarot created by MJ Cullinane. Pay homage to the crows and ravens. Their mystical energy provides the wisdom to guide and connect us to our intuitive powers. The 78 card deck is symbolically reminiscent of the traditional Rider – Waite tarot, my first tarot deck.
My first Crow tarot spread. Shuffle and quiet my mind. Once ready, I pull a card from the center and lay it face down. Allowing my mind to wander peacefully I pull seven more at random placing them to the left, right, top, bottom, left, right, and like a little hat on the top cards right.

Each card has its spot; and each spot has its meaning. It’s what resonates with you that matters most. You know that feeling in your bones or deep in your stomach, tight, kind of ominous?
Card #1 Heart energy/Inner self.
Represents foundation energy. Either permanent of one’s nature or an energy that has hold of the heart due to life events. Operating in the background and tying with the present energy.
Card #2 Present energy.
Surrounding energy that creates the mood and atmosphere for future events.
Card #3 Energy holding you back or helping you.
This could be either the energy supporting your goals, or adding friction to the situation. Often this card hints at hopes and fears a.k.a. the next card!
Card #4 Hopes/Fears.
The energy that lurks in your subconscious and can be a saboteur. It is the manifestation of hopes and fears.
Card #5 Grounding energy/Advice.
Energy keeping you centered and connected to source energy at the present moment. If negative this suggests that your energy is counterproductive advising you to resolve any negative habits, or limiting beliefs.
Card #6 Lesson from the past.
A past lesson or a spirit dance that serves as a reminder and offers advice for your current situation.
Card #7 External openings, or obstacles.
The energy that enters personal atmosphere, without an invitation. May increase or alleviate friction.
Card #8 Possible future or outcome.
This is the energy that will manifest as a result of action.
Now, the cards come out at random yet seem to fall right in place. Always remember intention. It can be a silent thing. Ever present and hyperaware are those that guide me. To show you the waters not to understand the waves for you. After all, we are all buoyant in our own ways. The drowning mans waters could be the surfers tide.

Onto my cards meanings;
Card #1 Ace of Swords reversed
Suggests I am having a hard time completing a project, because there is a lack of vision. (Oof thanks universe)
Card #2 VII of Wands
This serves as a reminder that although I have made it to not be complacent, because there will be those who believe my position should be theirs. Asking me to remain self-confident, and to have courage when facing challenges.
Card #3 VIII Strength
Suggests I will have an experience that requires me to summon the power that only comes from exercising inner peace, and freeing myself from the influences of ego and fear. (Uhm, yes. Spot on)
Card #4 The Magician
Symbolizes the first steps of generating success. Baby steps. (There have been some small wins..)
Card #5 II of Cups
Some sort of harmonious partnership, not necessarily, romantic. Together the pair is balanced and equally satisfied while sharing a unified vision.
Card #6 The Sun reversed
Assign I am unable to feel the gifts that the sun has to offer and as a result, there is a feeling of pessimism that is preventing my success. Asking if I can look beyond the clouds to see it.
Card #7 IX of Wands
Denotes a struggle finishing a project. Offers encouragement to keep going, reminding me of the work I have completed and to visualize a successful completion. (Mindful manifestation)
Card #8 Page of Swords
The time is now to take action! Throw caution to the wind, get out there and fly! Denotes, movement, energy and communication; essentials for embarking on a new adventure! (Which I definitely needed!)
This all led me to where I am today.
Soaring on I’ll find my way.
