Introduction

What We Do In The Shadows is in its final series, and since the TV series relocated the crew to Staten Island it has been one of my favourite excursions into the creatures of the night, incredibly funny with a top-notch cast.

I thought this would be a fun jumping-off point for some funny Vampire based memes taking a pop at the more serious and po-faced representations.

I love this take on the Vampire invitation, foiled by language.

Two takes on the same scientific premise that as night creatures are destroyed by sunlight, but the moon has no inherent light that I know of, just the light that is reflected from the sun. Apologies for the blurriness of the first image, but you can read it, so that should make you smile.

Sometimes I find Grammarly extremely annoying as it tries to change what you are writing because it does not follow grammatical rules to the letter, so to speak.

This could be me as a vampire, but I very seldom feel very fatigued, just at night ironically, so I definitely would not be an archetypal vampire, although I am going to Whitby this weekend, and will visit the abbey, but don't think I will see Vlad.

One of the things with a post like this, sharing cartoons and memes, is that readers are not really interested in what you have to say, but you do have to say something to knit the whole thing together or else it becomes little more than anGoogle Search, and in order to unearth these little gems I have to scour Google and sift through the repeated pictures and rubbish to find the ones that are funny, well in my opinion, anyway.

The blood-related date from Cartoonstock is clever and funny, and it shows how rich language can be.

English can be exasperating and brilliant for its readers and users, but Vampires have been the subject of many books, plays, and films for our entertainment. As with all horror creatures I do wander how people would be if they were taken by a real one.

Vampires are almost always clean-shaven, and I wonder what happens when they nick themselves if they shave. Do they drink their own blood and what effect does that have one them?

This one is funny because it is a fauna-related funny, rather than the normal Draculaish meme. It made me laugh. Though the one below is almost a "dad joke"

Sometimes you can just do it with words though.

Sesame Street's Count is always good for a line, don't you think? Even if you never saw Sesame Street you know who The Count Is.

A wonderful lifestyle choice, I know many people who would love for this to be them. Strange, as I get older I sleep less during the day and more at night, though I often wake when it is dark and a few hours until the sun rises, but I am not a Vampire I don't think. I drink coffee not blood.

When it's Halloween and you think you see a real Vampire at your front door. Oops.....

A cross whatever meme. I love Vampire Weekend so I will share one of my favourite songs of theirs with you. If you don't know them you should check them out, you never know....

Maybe Vampires just find outdodifficultdificult, I would if my skin blistered as I walked out. Maybe just give them a chance.

And I will close this list with this perfect description of me, and even when I am invited I often don't take it because I believe that most people would prefer me not to join them. That is just a joke. I take every opportunity to socialise.
