THE FLIGHT
Bruce sat down on his aisle seat and strapped in. He was flying out to Paris, for his much awaited date with Lorraine. He had met her a few years ago when he was vacationing in Ibiza. They got on well and after a few nights decided to take it further. Lorraine was French, rich and a corporate lawyer. Bruce was a dreamy, slightly rumpled but handsome young man. He worked in a bank. He pushed other people's money around. His life was really forgettable. Meeting Lorraine had made him feel that it was worth remembering after all. They were going steady for almost six years now.

Love
Love, so many ways that you can love people. Love is such a strong emotion. Love is the best feeling in the world. However, there is love you feel for general folks in your life that mean the world to you as friends or family or just in general people you do not really know or just know about. If you are like me, we try to love every single person that has entered our realm of life even if its just a picture of someone on social media that you feel a connection to, a child picture you might see on social media that may be cute, funny, or dealing with health issues. Love for our fellow man. Love for just life or life for love. However, there is this amazing, drive you insane lose your mind love. The love for your other half, your soul mate, your best friend love of your life. This love can not be denied as the most fantastic feeling of all time. The love for someone that you know beyond any doubts in your mind that you can spend eternity with them, and it would never be long enough. That one person, The one, The only, love of your life.

Escaping the Friend Zone
There was a time in my life when I was just like you. I wanted to be more than a friend to the girl of my dreams. Every time I saw her, I felt my heart race, and it got harder to breathe. Seriously, it was something out of a movie: I was the short, nerdy, pudgy kid taking honors classes and she was the gorgeous, affable, popular girl next door that everybody loved. Think Steve Urkel and Laura Winslow. Doug Funnie and Patti Mayonnaise. Now maybe I’m a little biased, but I’m sure I wasn’t the only guy that had a crush on her; there were taller dudes, guys that weren’t taking the bus to school every day like me. Guys with their own cars and better clothes than me, bigger muscles and better personalities. The whole time I felt that she was out of my league. Even though I had no reason to believe that I would ever have a shot with her, I still thought it was possible because I had a secret weapon; I thought I had a chance because I was her friend. I figured if I just tried to be the best friend I could be, she would eventually come to appreciate me and decide to give me a chance.

Hedge-Riding for the Gemini Collective
As a Hedge Witch, I decided the best way I could serve Geminis everywhere was through hedge-riding. Flying the hedge, (Otherwise known as “veil-walking”) is a highly individualized practice and involves traveling beyond this world in order to return with knowledge, healing, enlightenment and more.

Sunrise
"You are a fire" he told me and I wasn't sure if it was a compliment or an insult. The day is born and we are vacant in our bodies. We are so thirsty for adventure that we are too tired to live. We are blinded by our inconsistencies. I wanted to find you here, beneath the sun and the moon as one awakens and another is off to sleep. I wanted to know you and understand your beauty with a clean pair of eyes. But the image is out of focus. And our bodies are too close to do this with a clear head.

The Stairwell
Jasmine slammed the door behind her and started toward the elevator. Her boyfriend’s muffled yells followed her. Although she couldn’t make out what he was saying, she let out a shout of frustration, UUUUGGGHH. Upon reaching the elevator, she reached and pressed the down button. The button glowed briefly while her finger was on it, but was extinguished as soon as she let go. Shaking her head, she tried several more times before letting out a heavy sigh. “Of course! Why would the elevator be in service!?”

Stop Waiting for Your Soul Mate!
The One As a young girl, I recall dressing up like a bride with a cluster of giggling friends. We all took turns wearing a sheer lace curtain panel as a veil, secured by a headband, parading down the "aisle" (hallway) as the "bridesmaids" tromped along behind, pretending to hold up the invisible train.

Work Hard, Love Harder:
If there’s anything being a responsible adult has taught us, it’s the importance of balance. Time management is a skill we learn to develop as we grow older, and it doesn’t just apply to our working lives. After all, along with a demanding career, we also have to juggle our social lives, get enough sleep, cook, maintain relationships, and have quality alone time.
