Beautiful colors I see in you and me, when I see colors, they make me happy brightens up my life! We all have favorite colors in our lives, the color red is of my delight, of course all the colors are beautiful without a doubt. with my Moleskine journal I will write about the beautiful colors that surround us in this beautiful Earth let me start: There are magical colors everywhere in the sky, the way the sun hits the light either brightens the sky's or dims the lights, but it does it with such delight to remind us that even as the evening is approaching but the sun must say it’s good byes, and it goes with such delight.

A Gift from God
A Gift from God By John Matthews Several years ago I meet the most amazing person in the world. After several unsuccessful relationships and being worn out from the bar scene, I almost gave up. I prayed for about three years and felt like giving up. I always thought I would be the one who would never find love. I felt a feeling of hopelessness that love would not find me. One day I was browsing the internet noticed a dating website called E-Harmony. I heard this site had been successful in finding matches leading to marriage. I was the type to think these dating sites were scams and that all they wanted to do is drain people by emptying their pockets. After being disgusted from blind dates, clubs, and bars I decided to give E-Harmony a try. I signed up and did searches to find possible matches for me. It didn't take long before I got responses back from individuals. I wrote the ones I sent messages to individuals that I found interesting. It was not long before I received responses and eventually met up with people for dates. Apparently, these dates did not seem to go far and I felt myself in a rut wondering ifthere was really true love out there for me. I sent a message out to a deaf woman from New Jersey named Andrea, who had similar interests with me. I felt like this would not work out because I would have trouble communicating with her. We talked for about two months online and finally decided to meet at Laurel Lanes Bowling Alley in Mount Laurel New Jersey.

Color of Sunshine
I could choose one color, but none of them describe you. You’re a burning rainbow with no color rule. You’re far too complex, beautiful and abstract. I couldn’t simply choose orange because nothing rhymes with that. Yet I see within your soul what burns and dances like a flame. Yellow shines because you are fierce as the light.. wild yet tame. As a Phoenix rises above the ashes with a fiery burning red. The color leads me to your heart it is pure as gold piercing through my head. A bright white blinds me as you sparkle different angles. As a diamond you shine bright like that of an angel.

The Diner
Her head is rocking in time to the blaring sound of Aerosmith's "Walk this way." She lets go of the steering wheel to play a little air guitar riff. The thumping bass prickles her skin as her leg rests against the speaker. Candace Blythe is cruising along at 80 MPH on I-40 through the longest stretch of the old Route 66 heading to Kingman. She announces to the empty cab of her Ram 1500 that she is not getting any kicks on Route-66 and chuckles at her own silliness.

Okasan
I don't know what to say sometimes. Words do not describe the depth of feeling that I understand when I think about you. My memories are convoluted and maybe, I am confused. But I wear many faces and adapt to the complexity that you showed me. Your intuition is uncanny: I did not realise until you presented me with looming death.

Love is Strange
Love is strange. I mean, how does one define love? There are so many different types, different meanings, different human interactions. Love can be defined as a philia, a deep friendship. The type where two or more people can have intimate, meaningful conversations but there is absolutely no physical attraction. Love can be familiar, totally selfless and unconditional. It means giving of yourself without any expectation of receiving back. There is a type of love called agape, meaning to put someone else’s needs ahead of your own. There is eros, a physical need which can be demonstrated through holding hands, kissing and in many more intimate ways.

The Spilling of Emptiness
Away from home in a neighbouring city, I was becoming a character worth reading about. Not yet a week had passed when my mothers voice called, dripping and hanging in an impossible balance, she had asked me to come back home. This creature that had clung to my mother’s walls, had pushed her way into the world, precisely six minutes before I came out screaming behind her, was gone. My mother had told us a story, a million times and then some. We both came out of her belly hating it here, screaming and kicking and outrageous to be alive. But then when we were put in a crib together, when we had been swaddled skin to skin, sharing warmth and wetness and life, we never made a sound.

Finding a Healing Mantra
Two years after my life took a downward spiral, I channeled a mantra in order to help me heal. A mantra is a word, sound or phrase you repeat to calm the mind, tune into the soul and to connect to the universe. The word “Mantra” is a Sanskrit word meaning “Man” and “Tra” (to transport). Mantras help you to transport the mind and look inward for healing.
