humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Triggered
Everybody is screwed up in their own little way. If you are looking for a career and you don’t have a violent criminal record, get into psychology. People seem to be twisted 137 different ways. I have seen that the most put together people sometimes are the most twisted. I don’t hide my issues, matter of fact I take pride in them so I’m like ahead of the game. I’m lying. Let’s move on. Trigger words. There are words that trigger a certain type of anger in different people. That doesn’t mean that the triggered person is the one with the issues. I just want to point that out.

COVID-19: Humanity's Awakening Shock?
The Awakening Shock My Sheikh (spiritual master and my spiritual guide) often speaks of the ‘awakening shock’. A moment in time or a series of separate yet interlinked occasions where a human being’s entire world, or how they knew it to be, is rocked so hard that they are literally shaken to the core. Imagine someone being struck by lightning – but spiritually, where the electric bolt goes straight to the heart and strikes the soul, jolting it awake from a deep slumber.

Gratitude
At one point in time I had a brief obsession with Veggie Grill. I couldn't get enough of their cheeseburgers and i'd go a few times a week to get a cheeseburger kids meal with sweet potato fries. The closest location I had access to is just off of Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles. Living in Los Angeles it is very unlikely that on a daily commute I do not pass at least...5 homeless people. Whether I am driving through downtown, catching a glimpse of Skid Row or walking Hollywood Boulevard, I am bound to come across someone, or many, who are less fortunate than myself.

Scribbles
The subway station is massive, an underground sprawl spreading over multiple city blocks. With its wide corridors and modern architecture, the place seems a monument to the 21st century. The various street gang graffiti on the walls, competing for space, tell another story. The luminous looks of the place are only a surface dressing. For the neighborhood’s people, the place is a dangerous one. For the local police, it’s a nest of vermin. For Scribble, it is home. It has been for years.

I Was Thrown Out of An Airbnb House
It A few years ago, I used to work interstate, travel and use Airbnb a lot. I loved Airbnb and still enjoy using their services. But this unusual experience made me cautious about choosing the right accommodation for my needs.

A Pandemic of Shame
For years I have watched and read stories depicting apocalyptic events and dystopian futures, always hoping that if the events happened in real life, humanity would prevail. Then the year 2020 arrives, a pandemic hits and too many people choose to ignore all the major rules of quarantine.

Awakening to love
The seasons, they go by. Raking up the memories and trying to keep count. The crispy ice across the blades of grass as a New Year starts. The hope that keeps them staying in the fear. Pretending that from year to year we have so many things that were better than the other. Never imagining that we were always smarter as the small humans that we were.
