For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.

Say It Loud
At eighty-one, Charlie Williams is still going. These days, his pace is much slower steadied with the help of a cane. His broad shoulders, rounded by the hands of time, no longer look like that of a cheeky boxer. Yet, Charlie’s sight remains nearly undimmed, his hearing is still sound, and glimmers of his belief in what black people can achieve remains untouched. That is because pride is a tricky thing. No doubt, it precedes a fall, yet it is awfully difficult to wake up and face each day head-on without it.

Judged & Defamation Without Reason
I’m not too sure how or why it even happened or got started... but from the moment I walked into a bar in a small town in highland, Illinois things were bad for me. I’ve lived in that town off and on since 2004, though I was also born there. My family recently moved back to the area from Granite City. Anyways, I was just getting into promoting and working with bands in local bars in the surrounding areas. I had just got back from California and had worked on several game and reality shows. My mom had told me about a bar called the Corner Keg, that they had bands and such. She had also suggested checking out a place called the 501 Blues.

Namaste - I See You
Big Bang A long time ago, there lived an entity whom we shall call No-thing because words cannot express that entity's essence. No-thing was the only thing that existed. Humans, planets, aliens, universe, sun, birds, microbes, animals - whatever you can think of did not exist. To look at it another way, No-thing was every-thing too.

Fraud
Why did I pull that fire alarm? Was it because Riley and the others dared me to do it? Was it because I wanted them to think I was cool? That I was tough? Was it because I hated myself? Yes to all. But the real question is: how did this all happen? It was no coincident that it happened right when, or before or after I pulled it. All I know is that I’m not really a hero. It just seems that way. It seems that way because someone through a lit cigarette in the washroom trash can, and a four-eyed freshmen, Neil Parker, was still in the washroom stall when the fire alarm went on, and he ran into the wall when he was panicking to get out, becoming unconscious. It seems that way because everyone in the school could have ended up like Parker if I didn’t pull that alarm.

My Horrific 2020
Last year was crazy! When I say crazy, I mean crazy. I know it was crazy for everyone, but our 2020 was just the icing on the top! Covid-19 wasn’t the beginning of our problems! Our problems started the very first day of 2020! It was a normal day at first, but later ended with a BANG, Literally. My husband had to get up and go to work. He picks up an Amish co-worker, and then heads out to their job sight. My husband and the guy he works for (James) are Timber/ Lumber Jacks (Loggers).
