humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Dream a Little BIG Dream
A good story must start with something from the heart that helps the individual define limits beyond their own understanding, otherwise it is just a fireworks display with nothing to wonder about, You already know you are the hero. The girl got her guy, the guy got his girl.. only after a massive battle where thousands of innocent bystanders paid the price for both the 'Good” guy and the 'Bad” guy. Sure it can have elements of action, how much does the story pull away from the familial acceptance we all need. How much of it binds us to the hero, for a relatable fantasy. In this scenario the collective is always righteous, by unseen rules. The MC universe strives to make a good Segway. The Joker story in the DC universe has a very exploratory back story. It gets down into the psyche of those that would perform such tasks as the joker did. But everyone's favorite literary figures, William Shakespeare, Homer, Mark Twain, among many others set very high standards. The high standards even within those named are great. Samuel Clemens (Twain) for example was not great at spelling, nor was he perfect in his grammar. While William Shakespeare has some of the most perfect sentence structure ever noted.

Emotional Imbalance or Character Pathology?
You know that feeling you get when you’re about to publish a post? The angel on one shoulder says that this post will make your readers connect the dots when it comes to their behavioral patterns or the ones observed in people with whom they’re interacting on a daily basis. Meanwhile, the devil on the other shoulder is enjoying teasing you and ridiculing your silly dream of making such a difference in people’s lives.

YOU are the Strongest Woman I Know
Courage dear heart, As you fell into bed exhausted last night, I heard you breathe that familiar refrain, “Tomorrow. Tomorrow, I will do better. Life is so hard….” a tear slipped out of your eye as you lay quietly waiting for sleep to come and yet wishing it wouldn’t.

Homeless Man
Have you ever lived in a city and had to walk past the same ole bench every day to get where you are going? Have you ever noticed that the bench never changes, but everything else around it does depending on the day? This bench looks like an ordinary bench, and it is. What goes on around it is different each and every day. Even the homeless man that sits out here in the morning changes up what he says and does. He is still there at the same time, sitting on the same bench, but his reactions to the people around him change when things around him change.

Transgender Athletes
How do I even start this article without offending at least one person? I'm pretty sure it;s an impossible feat, but I'm going to try anyway. To start, I'd like everyone to know that I am in total support of the transgender community. I respect transgender people as I do all people. I studied kinesiology and am also a personal trainer. I have some questions when it comes to competitive, athletic sports and transgender people. It's a hard thing to understand, since I am not transgender. All I know is what I've learned about the physiology of the human body.

Knowing of the Unknown:
I got the test result phone call on my birthday. "You have Covid." Not the words I wanted to hear. Not me. What awaits me in the unknown? Knowing I have this virus that has killed thousands including people I know and have known for years scares me to no end. My Husband was lucky to get through it alive and he is way healthier than I am. Or so we thought. We found out through a turn of events that he had something serious going on. To protect him, I will not disclose details but the events have altered his life forever. He still beat covid. I am extremely thankful that he survived all that has happened to him these past two weeks. I knew it was inevitable that I was going to get covid. We were both exposed around the same time. The weird thing is that I didn't start feeling anything until 17 days after being exposed.

A Softer Generation
I was born in '81. While I may not remember a lot from my own childhood, I do remember some things growing up. Growing up in the eighties was like any past generation, I suppose. To be honest children didn't have mental illnesses back then. I didn't have ADD, I was simply unfocused and I didn't try hard enough. I was too focused on dumber things, when I should have been dealing with classwork. Depression wasn't a thing back then either. That was just laziness, and I slept a lot. The weekends would find me sleeping the day away, literally. Fourteen hours is so far the longest I've ever slept.
