humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Little Aggie May & the Homeless Man
The public library was often a mixture of homeless folks and wealthy older residents. The affluent elderly walked with their grandkids, wove around through the children’s corner, and checked out audiobooks. They altogether avoided the presence of the homeless, who mostly slept and kept to themselves, happy to find any kind of refuge. The divide between the wealthy and others has become so vast that the middle class has completely disappeared. Citizens are either part of the small percentage of privileged elite or striving from check to check. That or wholly unemployed and homeless, merely looking for a place to be.

A Friend at The End
The doctor explained that my liver was failing, by morning the rest of my organs would follow. He told me they would make me as comfortable as possible and alert my family. I told him not to bother. There wasn’t anyone left. Like most things, this too, would be an individual experience.

Pondering Ambivalence: a look into the light
A remote light blinking , hovering between light and darkness: Do you reach over and turn it on ? Or watch it blink out of sheer morbid curiosity of how the events will play out without divine intervention ? Do you take action and make the outcome you want ? Or sit back and watch how things play out , hoping for them to go in your favor ? While you do not know the outcome of the latter , it is more convenient and comfortable to wait and watch just out of the veritable possibility of success . However large the possibility for positivity , this nasty fascination with ambivalence also has a chance for ruination . There is no guarantee you'll make it out satisfied on the other side , so how are we so comfortable with the idea of failing that we just toss a coin , sit back , and wait for it to fall ? We have grown so accustomed to our watching and waiting , that we fail to realize when we can create the outcome we want virtually instantaneously by reaching out and putting in a little effort . In examining this simple , seemingly insignificant event , we are mindful of the universe's teachings in even the smallest of happenings .

Responsibility the guardian of freedom
Our anticipation of freedom or free will is for the most part unpretentious. We perceive freedom as a necessity. A human right so to speak. People should be incline to the pursue of individual liberty. And this isn't something that I think anyone will disagree with. it is comprehensible that without free will non of the achievement that we have made so far could have been Achievable. So by looking at this narrative, it is easy to identify what it is that we thing when we talk about freedom. We see it as a necessity because it is the mean of performing any measures both on an individual and on a collective level.

To The Woman Who Lost It All
You were just a stranger in the street and I’d stopped to take notice. You wore this black puffer jacket with blue jeans that were a little frayed and trainers that had seen better days. In one hand you clutched a small can of energy drink, the other fist was deep within a pocket, out of sight. You were hanging your head when you’d walked out of the shop and I could feel the waves of sorrow wash over me as you walked by. So I had to say something. Anything. I knew what that pit of despair was like and I disliked the thought of anyone else suffering the same.
