Dear Strongest Person I Know,

Life gives us only what we can handle. You were blessed to be given many challenges and still find the courage to go on. You will always be my most trusted and respected friend.

You’ve been picked on, abandoned, cheated on,backstabbed,abused in the worst way and left for dead! You’ve combated mental health, addiction and physical ailments despite the unbeleivable odds stacked against you. All of this while continuing to be the best person you could possibly be and not giving up on yourself!

Most people in their younger years have their parents to rely on and family to turn to but growing up in a hostile environment left you alone and broken. You managed to move past all the losses and struggles. You live peacefully at a distance forgiving those who had trespassed against you. You opened your heart!

Not only did you survive, you thrived! You put yourself through school while sleeping on a warehouse floor and working full time. You received A’s and scholarships and never complained. You learned to use your voice fearlessly which has inspired countless others. You’ve done this without asking anything in return. I wish I had a friend like you!

On top of all the struggles you’ve conquered in your life so far, You’ve managed to have a baby in the middle of a pandemic which nearly killed you. Other moms got sick listening to how hard your birth was but that didn’t phase you. You encouraged other moms by giving them hope in the face of fear in pregnancy during a global pandemic. There is seriously nothing you couldn’t handle.

If anyone ever try’s to make you feel less because of your tattered past and unreal struggles, you just smile and wave. No matter what they say, you choose your battles and give the rest to god.You are such a lady!

From the outside looking in, I could never guess how dark it’s been for you. That’s why your voice is so magical. It fearlessly embodies real truths about fighting to survive as a women. Your voice is hopeful, it is strong, and it is powerful! You won’t let anyone take that away from you ever!!

I love you dearly forever and ever no matter what happens! I will be your light in the darkness and if your voice ever falters, mine will be fearlessly telling you to keep moving forward as it always has
