What is good about Van Gogh's paintings?
Van Gogh is one of my favorite painters. He is the only love in my heart forever. Many years ago, I couldn't understand Van Gogh. When I was a child, I studied painting, drawing that kind of fine brushwork of beautiful women, painting carefully bit by bit, "drawing like" is my highest understanding of painting works. At that time, I really couldn't understand Van Gogh who "didn't draw much like". Later, in a bar, the owner of the bar had good taste in the local area and hung some paintings that I couldn't understand when I was young. Once I was hit by both academic disappointments and lovelorn. I got drunk in a bar and even began to hallucinate. I saw the picture on the wall. There were whirlpool nebulae in the sky, stars twinkling, cypress trees like a flame under the night, and the small village was shrouded in peace and tranquility. Suddenly I felt that the whole world had calmed down, and all my resentment seemed to find an outlet. My sadness was understood, and I saw tears in front of this picture. Later, you all know that this painting is starry night. What you saw at that time was only a copy.

Light Blue Smile
The sun rays blazing through the curtains, dust floating in the shine. Sky so light blue I feel so energized when the birds be talking I just whistle! Spark the blunt up and crack a giggle, loss the pain and found my thoughts right in the middle. Start the day put on my instrumental, happy feet, thin air, and the day just keeps on getting better! Called my Mother watched her smile heavy weight turned into feathers. Wished those feathers turned to wings, I can fly my way wherever. Ain't nobody catching me heard the clutch and put a missal, all the way into the sea. Snap back to reality! I am afraid of loosing me, like I once was when I was free, got no bars in front of me, I got wheels instead of feet, I be rolling , these no Heely's please do not see me as I go down through the street. On my way to thanking heaven, light blue sky is all I see, look at it so beautiful now look down here it is crazy, "Huh?" That is why I want to be up there in the clouds, not dead, "Naw", but floating and flying. That's why I be getting high, if you are not trying to catch a vibe baby, well then bye! I be on that ride or dye, curved went blind found out I survived. Been numb, now I am paralyzed! Still look at the sky and thank the lord that I'm alive and for the "Fam" that showed me love right when life frowned, wasn't easy but they helped me flip it upside down. Love that light blue smile helps me pick myself up when I fall ready for another million other times. This is just me getting up, in my own thoughts saying "Let's go baby we got to grind", a little tear might fall reminiscing on how I just got up and ran out the house, now I'm in the edge of my bed trying to catch my weight getting stronger every day. What doesn't kill you makes you smarter, so I keep the lights shut. My brain is the light! I got another chance in life. Too much thinking got me sinking, either way I enjoy swimming, too much power no connection this is via my prescription. Close my eyes it's booming. "Paradise if you do zooming!" Really, anything you want. Heaven or hell? I prefer well! Open them. When my room compacts it starts to break my shell . "Breath, chill, just go hard at it! Turning myself into a all day working addict. So much problematics I be needing like one hundred million gadgets, out the blue, I be, "How I do?" I feel stuck and might feel like quitting too, but it's alright in my accident when I lost half I forgot that I was human too. I love to live and I will shine. It's me vs what I can't do. Forget to breath when I'm outside it's kind of heavy now. I like the the breeze, I like the cold, I love frappe with ice, but when I shiver can't control and maybe just dye, so I keeps me cozy, pushing harder feel the burning. Fire in my eyes, desire to strive to meet my goals. Go so hard that when I leave this glove, the good I've done can spread like weed. First part legacy will be the seed, therefore man up and feel nothing. Don't ask for much but can't complain get all I want, it's still the same. Look out the window in the rain. My girlfriend's voice came through the game, she gives me joy to heal the shade and everything feels good again.

Art of the Ancient Americas
The Olmec, Colossal Head #1, c. 1200-900 BCE, San Lorenzo, Gulf Coast, Mexico The Olmec were the first major civilization in Mexico. Painting Mortality
“I wanted people to think about themselves, about their lives, about their own mortality.” - Damien Hirst Modern Art in the 21st century seems to have no boundaries; an artist can use anything to create art. While some materials are unusual and fascinating, some materials may cause us to step back in shock, as is the case with Damien Hirst’s Superstition.

Lines:
British aesthetician Clive Bell once stated: “Everyone in his heart believes that there is a real distinction between works of art and all other objects.” French conceptual artist Marcel Duchamp challenges this statement with the “ready-made” found objects such as the Fountain and the Bicycle Wheel. “Duchamp believed that any ordinary object could be elevated to the status of an artwork just by an artist choosing that object.”

Optical Experience
"Modernism ... made it more conscious of itself. With Manet and the Impressionists, the question ceased to be defined as one of color versus drawing, and became instead a question of purely optical experience as against optical experience modified or revised by tactile associations” (Greenberg).

The Rites of Spring
During our primary education, we are taught science, music, literature, history, and art. We are instructed on what is. Included in this instruction is how the form of things change, like water and its various stages: liquid, solid, and gas. In art, teachers identify certain key contributions as works of art. So, when we are asked the question: "What is art?" we begin listing off types and we may even identify key figures in the art world. These two things, the work of art and the artist, inform us that art is a product of human efforts. By this reasoning, art is anything that we make.
