Going to college: 7 ways to get a head start in your career
College is often seen as the best time of your life, and it’s perfectly understandable that the last thing on your mind right now is getting your career started. Although we fully encourage you to enjoy your life to the fullest, it’s also a fact that future employers tend to only hire people with the right experience – even for entry-level positions. So how do you land a job without any accomplishments in the field? Luckily, hiring managers don’t expect you to have years of working experience, but they do look for candidates with interesting assets aside from a degree. Of course, you will already gain a lot of skills through socializing and picking the right courses, but there are other options. 4 Steps to Stop Being a Controlling Person
Let’s say you can’t wait to throw an epic birthday party for a loved one. If you spend the time dissecting every movement of all of your movements and those of others, straining yourself so heavily that it breaks when a single detail is out of place, it won’t be difficult to destroy the joy of the occasion.

Give Yourself Permission to Start Over
Growing up, I wish we were told more often that it’s okay to start over. That starting over isn’t as scary as we perceive it to be, but instead a reminder that we are meant to forge more paths than the one we’ve been trekking on. That it's completely normal to try your hand in a different career path than the one your diploma tells you should be pursuing. That although the grass may not always be greener on the other side, it's worth exploring because the scenery doesn't change much if you're standing on one side of the fence your entire life.

Actions Over Words
Actions of care. That is my love language. By actions of care, I don’t mean that I want somebody to do everything for me. I do not want a servant, nor do I wish to be coddled or treated as if I am helpless. What I think of, when I think of actions of care, are the times when somebody close to you knows you and thinks about you enough that they engage in small actions that might make your day brighter, or your life easier in some way.

Sorry
In my 9th and 10th grade, my teacher always told my class she didn't like hearing "sorry" when people did something on purpose. Didn't do homework? Don't say sorry. Said something inappropriate? Don't say sorry. While she may not have been everyone's favourite, her morals were surely insightful. And as I grew up between my high school and university, I learnt a lot of things from the meaning of the word sorry to regret and making amends. In this article, I will be sharing with you what I have learnt and hope that you get to learn something and make your life enriching.

A good relationship can be ruined by taking it for granted
I once heard a story like this. A guy confessed his love to a girl, who didn't immediately say yes or no, saying, "Are you sure you like me?" The boy said, "I like you more than I like everything in the world." The girl asked again, "What about 1 year later, 3 years later, and when you get married, will you still like me so much?"
