What's in That Cave?
The woods were silent except for the few high-pitched chirps of the birds hidden among the tree tops. Sunlight glinted through openings in the tall oaks and birches, and floated down to the forest floor. In the distance something loomed mysteriously in the side of a small mountain, a cave with ferns that littered the ground around it. No one had been in the cavern for over 100 years and it was because of a 100-year-old mystery of a missing child.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Cult of Chucky' (2017)
Okay, I like this movie for two very important reasons. One, it respected the fact that Chucky is barely two feet tall and can't weigh more than 20 fucking pounds. He remained a stealth killer throughout the movie like the good old day, and never once managed to overpowered someone that he didn't get the drop on first. Second, they didn't spoon feed him any of his kills, which is important. In cannon, Chucky is supposed to be cunning and while cunning might be hard to write for a script, they didn't phone it the fuck in. The thought through Chucky’s plan, every logical move, made it smart, end executed it logically.

Welcome Back the King and Queen
Stephen King was a name that used to strike fear into the hearts of many, especially with his first novel Carrie in 1974. The storyline was unlike anything written before, and within two short years, the movie version of Carrie was released. Since then, there has been a sequel, a TV movie, two musicals, and an upcoming remake movie, but none have ever compared to the original movie. The remake is said to stay closer to King’s original writings, but does that really matter to people in a movie theater or do they just want to see the blood and guts horror? Each time Carrie was remade, there were always murders of people for bullying a young girl, who was a little different. The original Carrie, Carrie 2: The Rage, and the 2013 remake, Carrie, all tell a similar story, which leaves people asking if there is a need to be remaking the movie.

Pictures
Developed film lined the walls of Maxine’s dark room along with negatives. “This just can not be!” “My camera didn’t even work in the woods, it powered down as soon as I turned it on!” A few days after Maxine's little adventure in the forest, she went into her backpack to get her camera. What she found on the film terrified her and made her skin crawl. Every picture was black background with a white mist/mass thing, if looking close enough you could make out a face of something certainly not human. When she was developing the pictures she swore the pictures changed, like the white mass of whatever it was, was moving around as she wondered her dark room.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Thirst' (2015)
Holy hell, this movie was bad! I actually kinda liked it, but man was it fucking bad. I have to say, just to make it perfectly clear, this movie is "Sci-Fi channel original" bad. We’re way beyond B-horror here, we're straight on to F. So was it good-bad, or bad-bad? You know what? I'm going to let you be the judge of that. Before I even get into this review, you should know I do recommend this movie. It's fun enough to be riff-worthy, and for me, that's enough of a reason to watch anything. But hey, the movie opens up with something crashing to Earth from outer space, and what do we all know about movies that open up like that? With rare exception, they're silly as fuck! It actually kinda reminds me of Carnosaur.

Chapter One
Two pale figures stood in the mist, at the edge of a lake. They both stared out at the whirlpool in the center. Bright wings glowed through the fog. Darkness filled the sky, a blue quarter moon and purple sun dancing slowly around each other at opposite ends of the sky. A gentle breeze carried the cries of newborn babes and the sighing last breaths of the dying, in rhythms reminiscent of the push and pull of ocean waves.
