Depression
Depression is being colorblind and being told everyday about all of the beautiful colors in the world. It’s seeing the world through fogged up glass.

"Valerie," a strange voice calls through the darkness, "Valerie, hey." My head pounds violently. Nausea hugs my stomach. "Valerie. Come on, wake up." I open my eyes. A bright, blinding light welcomes me.

"Yeah... Let's go home." ------------ "Valarie...." A voice echoes through the damp room. I open my eyes. A dim light burns my blurry vision.

"Valarie." The voice's breath is warm against my face. I close my eyes tight. Blood runs down my arm. I open my eyes, and a light is shining in my face.

"Come find her" is written messily across the mirror, a bloody handprint next to it. "Seriously Margret, this isn't funny anymore. We could get in real trouble for being here and you decide playing a joke on me would be fun. What it we get caught?" I frown and wipe the mirror off. I turn the water off and walk towards the door.

Stillborn (Pt. 1)
"Hush little one. It is time for bed," her soft voice echoes through the room, almost comforting, "Hush now. Hush. Off to sleep with you my love." She looks down at her baby, rocking the crib softly. "sleep love, now sleep. Go to sleep."

"Electroshock... therapy." Her voice cracks. She looks at me. We hear the scream again, muffled by sounds of electricity. I look up at her, "Do... do you hear that?" She slowly nods and looks up at the door.

2010. A couple and their four-year-old son, David, are out at the store Halloween shopping. David decides to venture through the toy aisle. As he is looking at the variety of toys, a young man approaches him.
