Victoria will soon be single and broken-hearted on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Spoilers for THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are teasing that Victoria Newman will soon have a broken heart because she is single. There is a lot going on right now with her fiance Ashland Locke and there are several ways this could all play out. Many who watch the CBS soap have been saying from day one that Locke is using Vickie in order to get back at her father. Victor stood over Ashland who was having a heart attack and demanded he sign a business contract. Although the two men seem to have made peace a number of viewers contend that Harrison's dad is out for revenge.

Victor Billy, and Nick all distrust Locke but Victoria has asked them not to dig into his past. Last week spoilers suggested that Ashland was a gigolo in his youth and may have stolen money from an older woman. Some who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS suspect that he might have taken advantage of Dina Mergeron while others suspect that it could have been Katherine Chancellor. Both women are loved and thought highly of in Genoa City so if Ashland did wrong by either of them he will be in big trouble.

Spoilers have been teasing for weeks that Ashland's past will come back to haunt him but Victoria does not seem to care. She has been saying she just wants everyone to back off but Billy is not likely to do that. Victor is going to have a talk with his former son in law and by the time you read this he may already have done so. The Newman patriarch will warn Billy Boy to stay out of his daughter's personal life but THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers know this will never happen. John Abbott's son is like a dog with a bone and even Lily will not be able to stop him.

The next issue is Ashland's health and THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers are divided on this issue. Some believe Locke is not dying and that it will be revealed prior to the wedding. If this happens Victoria will truly be heartbroken. She might forgive any past discretions but there is no way she will overlook his pretending to be dying in order to get back at her father. This will truly be humiliating and might set up a Villy reunion. Billy is going to want to be there for his former wife and this will not sit well with Lily who may decide enough is enough. Even if Billy is responsible for the revelation that comes forth, Vickie will forgive him in time.

A third possibility is that Ashland is really dying and is hospitalized or passes away prior to the nuptials. This could be the setup for what Skyle fans have been desiring. It was revealed recently that Michael Mealor and Hunter King will return to THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS for 2 episodes in October. This is when Ashland and Victoria's wedding is supposed to take place. If whatever stops the nuptials and breaks Victoria's heart happens just before the "I do's" then perhaps Kyle and Summer might take the plunge.

Now that spoilers are concurring that Ashland and Victoria will not get married any one of these situations could take place. The one that would devastate her the most would be Ashland collapsing and dying before they can become man and wife. Whatever happens THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers know that Billy will find a way to try to help the mother of his children so his relationship with Lily is as good as over.

Richard Burgi was only scheduled to be on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS through the summer so his time is unless his contract has been extended. This storyline has so many ways it could end and the writers might even surprise viewers with something they had not even thought of. Be on the lookout for updates to this storyline as October draws near. Victoria's loss might be a big gain for Skyle so stay tuned.
