Tywin Lannister and new Lioness

Tywin's POV

Robert Baratheon called me into the throne room for a meeting. Once I walked in there, I was glad to see my daughter next to him and happy. The kings guard escorted me halfway into the room and I walked the rest of the way in.

The king called me in there to propose marriage with his niece Mary. I must admit she is a beautiful young lady, but I haven't been married in years. Plus, I didn't know a thing about her at all. All I knew was that she is the daughter of Renly Baratheon and in hiding. I said to Robert, "Yes your grace, I would love to get to know your niece and marry her."

After the meeting, Mary and I walked out of the throne room and back to my office in the tower of the hand. Once there, I asked her, "Are you okay with this arrangement?" She answered back with, "Yes I am. I've heard stories about the brave lion Tywin Lannister and always wanted to meet you. Now that I have, I would love to get to know you and marry you."

I was so happy when she said that. I pulled her to me by her waist and kissed her like this was my last day to live. I pushed her against the wall and intensified the kiss. She wrapped her legs around my waist and pulled me closer, I knew we both wanted more, but I stopped.

She looked at me confused. I explained to her why I stopped and she understood. We spent the rest of the day and most of the night talking and getting to know each other. She fell asleep with her head on my chest, and I smiled. I never thought that I would find happiness after my first wife died. But, I think I have with Mary

I thought to myself, i will truly love her with all my heart and protect her with everything I own no matter what.

After I met the great lion Tywin Lannister, I woke up in the morning and saw I was laying on him. My face blushed because that has never happened to me before. As I turned on my side to get off the bed, two strong arms wrapped around me. We just met, but I wanted to blush all the same. I turned over and said, "My lord, we both need to get up. We aren't married, what will your guards say when they come in?" He opened his eyes and replied with, "They won't say a word. They're loyal to me." Once he said that, I nodded but replied to him with, "What about your daughter the queen and your sons?" He looked at me wide eyed and basically jumped out the bed.

Later that afternoon, Tywin's daughter Cersei came up to me and said, "So, you're the whore who is marrying my lord father. I would've expected more." I had a confused look on my face and said, "What do you mean you're grace? Your father asked to marry me, so I'm just confused now." She smiled almost insulting like and said, "My lord father only asked to marry you so he can produce another heir to Casterly Rock. He doesn't love you no matter what he says."

That night, I went to Lord Tywin's office to ask him if what his daughter said was true. I knocked on the door and heard "come in". I entered and Tywin greeted me with a smile, and I slightly returned the favor. He saw my hesitation and asked, "What's wrong my lady? Did something happen? Did someone say something to you?" I looked at him with a sad look on my face and just started to break down. I said, "Your daughter said that you only want me to marry you so you can produce another heir to Casterly Rock. Is that true my lord?" Tywin looked at me and replied, "That is not true my lady. I want to marry you because I think you're pretty and sweet. If we happen to have a child, I won't stop wanting you or needing you by me after the child is born."

After that conversation, we laid back on his bed again together. We spent the rest of the night talking again and cuddling. I fell asleep and let sleep hit me until waking up in the morning either before or after Tywin.

I really couldn't believe that Mary would ask me that question last night. I woke up this morning and she was soundly sleeping on me. I don't know why, but this beauty of a stag intrigued me. She is so beautiful, kind, powerful, and gentle. I don't deserve her I thought as I watched her sleep.

After a few minutes, I felt Mary begin to wake up. I put my hand in her hair and started playing with it. She smiled up at me with groggily eyes and said, "Morning great lion. Why are you playing with my hair?" I replied with, "Because it's beautiful long dark hair." I pushed myself up and got off the bed. When I did, I felt Mary trying to pull me back down to the bed.

When we were both ready for the day, we went to the throne room because my grandson called me in. I didn't wanna leave Mary alone at all near my quarters. We both walked into the throne room and I said, "Your grace."  The room was civil until he had a guard try to hit Mary over the head and try to rape her. I yelled, "Your grace what are you doing??" "Mary is your cousin by birth." My grandson replied, "I don't care grandfather. She is friends with Sansa who is protecting her brother."

I stopped the kings guard from raping Mary and I picked her up off the ground. I was walking out the throne room when I felt Mary clench to me. I kissed her head and said, "Your fine my love. I promise I won't let anyone lay a hand on you. Would you be alright if I like cuddle you and spoon you?" She looked up with teary eyes and replied, "Thank you for promising to not let anyone touch me. My answer is yes my lion, it's okay if you do that."

When we reached our shared room, I tried to put her down but she wouldn't let go of me. So, I just laid down with her and watched her sleep. I didn't go to sleep so I could watch her and help her if she woke up from a nightmare.

After yesterday, I didn't know what to do when I went around the king and queen. But Tywin assured me he'll protect me, I mostly believe him. Every time I would see Cersei or Joffrey in the halls of the palace, I run the opposite direction. The last time I did that, I accidentally ran into Tywin. I curtsied and said, "My lord..."

He gently took my hand and let me to a quiet room. Once inside he said, "My lady, why are you acting like this?" I replied with, "Tywin, I feel safer near you right now. I love you and just want to be near you for my safety. Please let me be next to you today." The look on his face almost gave me the answer until he changed his facial expression. He looked down at me and said, "Mary, I love you too and I know you feel safer near me. How about I let you be in each room I go into with me?"

I had agreed to the idea and followed him into his office in the Tower of the Hand. Once inside, we sat at his desk. He was on one side working, while I was on the other feeling safe. I looked up and said, "Tywin, can I ask you something?" He looked up, smiled, and said, "You know you don't have to ask Mary. Just ask the question." So I asked, "When are we to be married?"

Tywin looked at me shocked and confused. He replied with, "Mary, we will be married as soon as possible. I just don't know the day yet." I slightly smiled knowing he was right. But then I asked, "Can we be married tomorrow Tywin please?" He shot his head up looking at me and saying, "Why so soon Mary? I thought you didn't want to marry me? What changed?"

I looked at him and replied with, "Spending time with you the past two weeks have been amazing. I trust you more and found out that I not only have feelings for you, but that I love you." I covered my mouth once I said it. I stood up and walked toward the door. But, before I could open the door, Tywin was in front of me and keeping the door shut.

He looked down at me and said, "Did I hear you right? You said you love me?" I shyly nodded and replied with, "Yes I did. I know you probably don't feel the same way but I ju-." Before I could finish, he had his hands on my waist and kissed me. He said, "I do love you Mary. I just didn't want to scare you off by saying anything about it."

After that, I don't know how, but we ended up in his chambers talking, cuddling, kissing, and fell asleep. Once I was starting to go out, Tywin said, "I love you. Sweet dreams."

I was very surprised that Mary wanted to marry me so suddenly. Mary was moving slightly, and I smiled down at her and lightly kissed her head. I slowly moved her off me so I can get up and get dressed. Once I finished getting ready for the day, I heard her stir and start to wake up.

Turning around, I said, "Morning my lady. How'd you sleep last night?" She tiredly smiled at me and replied with, "Morning Tywin. I slept the best I have in a long time." I knew Mary didn't want to be left alone for a while, so I just let her tag along with me today. Mary followed me into the Tower of the Hand. When we were inside, she hid behind me because my daughter and grandson were in there.

Quickly turning around, I escorted Mary outside the room and said, "My lady, wait out here until I come get you okay?" She nodded at me and I leaned down and kissed her. She said, "I love you Tywin." I smiled, kissed her once more and said, "I love you too Mary. Now wait her until I come back out for you." I didn't want her in the room when I started yelling at my daughter and grandson.

Returning to the room where my daughter and grandson were, and basically cursed them out for the way they treated Mary. Once I finished yelling at them, my daughter looked at me and said,"Yes father, I will start to treat her like she is a Lannister. But, I will also try to treat her like she is my mother too." I replied with,"Thank you Cersei. What about you Joffrey? Are you going to chance how you treat Mary?" I was very much expected him to say no but he said yes which was surprising.

I walked out the room to get Mary and bring her in. When I had her, she and I walked back into the tower. Once she was in there, my daughter came up to her and hugged her. But, when my grandson came up to her, he slapped her across the face and insulted. I wanted to hit him so hard for hurting Mary, but when she put her hand on my arm, I stopped.

I escorted her back to my chamber and we both got ready for bed and she fell asleep on my bare chest.
