Angelina Jolie in Alice Winocour's Paris 'Couture' Film Official Trailer
"It's a shout of rage, of liberation." HanWay Films debuted the first official trailer for Couture, a French film about the Paris fashion industry. This premiered at TIFF 2025 last year and other festivals and will be debuting in French cinemas this February. Though there's still no US release expected anytime soon as it didn't get many good reviews (58% on RT). Angelina Jolie stars as an American filmmaker named Maxine who arrives in Paris for Fashion Week on a life-and-death journey, facing challenges and self-discovery. The triptych story follows three women in Paris, including a young fresh face model named Ada, and a make-up artist working in the shadows of the catwalks. A "powerful & intimate journey of self-reflection & resilience set against the electric backdrop of Paris Fashion Week." Written & directed by French César nominated writer / director Alice Winocour, the film stars mega famous actress Angelina Jolie as Maxine Walker, with Louis Garrel, Anyier Anei, Ella Rumpf, Guillaume Marbeck, & Garance Marillier, also featuring Vincent Lindon. This only looks like it's worth a watch for anyone who is deeply into the fashion industry.

The Day Everything Changed
I missed the last bus on purpose. Not because I wanted to be stranded, but because I couldn’t face going home. That day had been one long unraveling—work mistakes, a call from my sister about our mother’s health, the kind of exhaustion that lives in your bones. The bus stop bench was cold, the sky bruised with storm clouds, and I just… stayed. Let the schedule pass. Let the world move on without me.

The Night I Stopped Waiting for Wings
I was fifteen the first time I saw the wings. It was 2009. My best friend and I huddled in her basement, sharing a bag of chips, eyes glued to the TV as women in glitter and lace walked like they owned the air itself. They were radiant, powerful, untouchable. One wore wings so wide they brushed the stage lights; another smiled like she held the secret to happiness itself.

The Boy in the Rain
I didn’t go for the game. I went for my nephew. He’s twelve, wears a faded jersey two sizes too big, and talks about football like it’s scripture. “It’s not just running and tackling, Uncle,” he’d said, eyes wide. “It’s about heart. About who shows up when no one’s watching.”

Avengers: Doomsday Star Reveals What It’s Really Like To Work With Robert Downey Jr. [Exclusive]
For Simu Liu, joining Avengers: Doomsday didn’t just mean stepping into Marvel’s next massive crossover — it meant finally sharing space with one of the people who made the MCU feel possible in the first place. In a new profile interview with Collider's Therese Lacson, Liu reflected on what it was like working alongside Robert Downey Jr., who returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Doomsday as Doctor Doom. And while Liu has spent years navigating Hollywood at this point, he admits there were still more than a few “pinch-me” moments along the way.

Why Marvel Studios Should Embrace Canon MCU Novels
For over fifteen years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been the gold standard for shared cinematic storytelling. What began as a risky experiment with Iron Man (2008) grew into a sprawling, interconnected franchise that redefined what blockbuster filmmaking could be. But as the MCU continues to grow–across films, Disney+ series, specials, and now the multiverse–it faces a challenge that can’t be solved with bigger budgets or more content alone:

Bugonia
I’d skipped Kinds of Kindness, the middle entry of three consecutive collaborations between Emma Stone and Lorgos Lanthimos; some issues with their Poor Things adaptation soured me on watching. But Bugonia drew me back; it’s a deliberately odd drama with sci-fi trappings and some pretentions; the film hinges on the idea that aliens might already be here on earth, or so some zoned-out conspiracy theorists imagine. They kidnap a CEO who they believe actually comes from the planet Andromeda and hope to unmask her an an extra-terrestrial, but things take an unexpected twist…
