The Young and the Restless spoilers: Explosive action takes place during the week of March-21-25

The Young and the Restless was off the air on Thursday and Friday but spoilers tease that the action picks back up during the week of March 21-25. Let's take a look at what is in store for Genoa City residents.

Abbott's front and center

Those who watch The Young and the Restless who are Abbott fans will be happy to see the clan front and center. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will talk to Traci Abbott ( Beth Maitland) about his current situation and tell his sister that Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) is her great-niece.

Traci will be surprised to find that her brother decided to take a step back from his granddaughter. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will show up and join the conversation and he will also be surprised at his brother's decision to not pursue a relationship with Allie.

Both Billy and Traci will understand why Jack wants to respect his granddaughter's wishes, but they believe he should take charge of the situation and reach out to the newest family member.

Phyllis might be left out

Spoilers say Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will agree with Billy and Traci who don't want their sibling to make the same mistake with Allie as he did with her father Keemo Nguyen (Phillip Moon). Jack will start to see things their way and eventually will decide to return to Los Angeles.

This time, however, he will decide to go alone and Phyllis probably will be disappointed. Y&R spoilers also say that Jack will receive more mysterious texts which at some point will lead him to the person who is behind the mystery. Could this be a woman and possible love interest?

Y&R fans are thankful that Jack is getting more air time and hope that soon he will find romance. In the meantime, Billy will begin enjoying a fresh start by working on his Podcast and will realize he can make it a success. Allie is reluctant, Phyllis will feel neglected and the person behind the texts could bring trouble to Jack.

Jill and Devon discuss the merger

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will spend time with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) on a video call and glean from her wisdom. Jill will point out all the benefits of a merger between Chancellor Industries and Hamilton-Winters, and Devon will see the great potential involved.

On social media, some fans of The Young and the Restless are saying they don't agree and that the two companies should remain separate. Spoilers suggest that after talking to Jill, it's probable Devon will be closer to making a deal with his sister Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) but things will at some point go sour between the siblings.

Devon and Lily took a while to reconcile after Hilary died and have been growing closer. Lil is going to divulge a secret this week which could lead to the rift between Devon and his sister growing. Spoilers say Nate might take Lily up on her offer to work with her and this could cause problems down the road. Everyone is wondering if Ashland will really report Nate to the medical board so things will be quite tense.

The Newmans stage an intervention

The Newman clan will stage an intervention with Victoria Locke (Amelia Heinle) ll but the outcome has yet to be revealed. Niki Newman, (Melody Scott Thomas) Nick Newman, (Josh Morrow) Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and possibly Nate Hastings ( Sean Dominic) will try to make their claims about her husband crystal clear.

Nate's evidence proves Ashland Locke ( Robert Newman) never had cancer and the Lockness Monster is raging. Spoilers suggest even this may not convince Vicki and 5hat Ashland may come up with a bizarre explanation. Fans hoping that Locke's demise is near should not yet jump for joy because Ashland is going to have a few more tricks up his sleep. Spoilers tease he might even consider fleeing Genoa City as the walls close in.
