Back to life and reality in LA

Last week on *The Bold and the Beautiful*, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) shared a passionate kiss after he heroically rescued her from drowning when she fell overboard Nick Marone's (Jack Wagner) boat. Promises were made, but Ridge must confront the reality that he cannot act on his feelings just yet.

Viewers who assumed that Ridge and his Logan were back together and would immediately share the good news immediately will be disappointed. The dress maker will not be able to act on his feelings immediately. He recognizes that he wants his "Logan," but he refuses to hurt Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) in the process. He wants to let her down gently.

Next week, Ridge returns home to Taylor, feeling guilt-ridden, but spoilers sugggest he won't immediately divulge the details. He understands the importance of taking his time to break the news gently, especially given that Taylor has been diagnosed with Broken Heart Syndrome.

While Brooke waits for Ridge to share their renewed connection with Dr. Hayes, she may confide in Donna Logan (Jennifer Garis) or Katie Logan (Heather Tom) for support. Meanwhile, Nick is unwavering in his determination to proceed with his proposal, ready to present the ring he's bought for Brooke.

Sibling rivalry continues

Ridge and Nick are not just rivals for Brooke's affections; they are also navigating the complexities of sibling rivalry. The two men cannot stand each other and are determined to best one another. Nick's primary goal in returning to LA was to challenge his half-brother by pursuing Brooke. Taylor, who was married to Ridge first, feels deeply that Brooke has disrupted her family. She is desperate to restore what was lost.

Brooke will likely keep her cards close to her chest regarding the details of her encounter with Ridge, but she knows without a doubt where her heart lies. Spoilers strongly indicate that Nick will not easily back down, but fans know Wagner's time on *B&B* is limited as he only returned for the summer.

The truth will be revealed

Eventually, Nick will have to accept that his pursuit of Brooke is coming to an end. Taylor will be left shattered when Ridge finally reveals the truth to her. She may confront Ridge, adamantly arguing that he does not truly love Brooke, suggesting that he was merely swept away by the moment.

Taylor could argue that his feelings are influenced by past memories in Italy and Eric Forrester's (John McCook) presence. Nevertheless, she has always known deep down that Brooke holds a special place in Ridge's heart. Steffy Finn *Jackie Wood) will also be shattered that her dad went back to her stepmother but she also knew that thsi was inevidible.

Taylor and Nick will be heartbroken

Many fans of *The Bold and the Beautiful* express frustration over Taylor's decision to remain in this untenable situation. Despite swearing off Ridge and attempting friendship with Brooke, viewers recognize that it wouldn’t last. Taylor's pleas will likely fall on deaf ears, as Ridge cannot deny his feelings any longer now that he has kissed Brooke.

The pressing question is whether Taylor will remain in LA or choose to leave again. Perhaps she and Nick will decide to embark on a new journey together, reigniting their past love. One thing that fans know is certain is that Nick and Taylor will have their hearts broken because Bridge will reunite.

Be sure to tune in to *The Bold and the Beautiful* to witness the fierce tactics Taylor and Nick will employ to keep Ridge and Brooke entangled in their lives.
