The sequel to Heat, which is based on Mann and Meg Gardiner's novel of the same name, will continue the story of Chris Shiherlis (Val Kilmer), Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro), and Lieutenant Vincent Hanna (Al Pacino) both before and after the disastrous bank heist in the first film. Despite being one of the most anticipated upcoming projects, not much is known about the sequel outside of its plot.
