The Boys' Antony Starr reflects on his time filming the hyper-violent comic book show in a lengthy social media post. Fantastic Four
Marvel has been struggling for a new foothold in the cinematic landscape for several years now. For a while it really seemed like they were floundering…let me be clear; this idea is not reflected in the quality of the films it is reflected in the waffling of the leadership of the MCU. For the last 3 years we have heard from Iger, and Fiege that they will now be centering the MCU and focusing on “quality over quantity”, when in reality the “new” release plan shows absolutely no changes whatsoever. They are in fact doing the exact same thing they have always done. This not only makes the keepers of the MCU liars but it makes them look like they have no idea what they are doing, and it highlights the fact that there is no real plan for the MCU. They have ideas, and whispers but they don’t have a vision. The release of the Fantastic Four however gives us hope.

David Corenswet lives in a world made of cardboard
Recently, I've had the opportunity to watch the newest Superman in theaters. I absolutely loved it. I'm eternally grateful for Gunn reminding the world what exactly being punk rock is and how we all need to be a little more punk rock. Now this is not a critique on the movie, but an opportunity moving forward as well as a slight character analysis of David's Superman relative to every other live-action version we've seen in length so far. Spoiler alert for those reading who have yet to see the film or are waiting on the digital release.
