'A Star Is Born' (2018)
I didn’t know this but apparently there were already four versions of the movie A Star Is Born before this fifth outing was remade. I know a lot of people are against remakes but every so often movies have to be remade because some movies don’t really make sense or are relatable to present times. When I think back at some of the acceptable racism, sexism and homophobia in some of the older films I used to watch I have no questions as to why we have to have remakes of films. I haven’t seen the old versions of A Star Is Born so I can’t really say there was a need for the remake but a remake was made nonetheless so let’s embrace it.

'Sons of Anarchy' Season 3
Another week and another Sons of Anarchy review. I’m really binging this thing like there’s no tomorrow. This time we’re at season 3. Just when I thought they already upped the ante they raise the bar even further. I had no idea where they were going to go with this season because season 2 wrapped up with that crazy cliff-hanger at the end.

'American Vandal' Season 2
Last year's surprise series American Vandal had me absorbed. I had previously watched Season 1 of Making a Murderer on Netflix back in 2015. American Vandal follows the same documentary style that Making a Murderer used with their wildly successful season, but with a comedic twist. It's funny that Netflix would allow a parody of one of their more popular series, especially so soon.

Movie Review: 'The Hurricane Heist'
The Hurricane Heist stars Maggie Grace as Casey: A wild child, ace treasury agent tasked with protecting a bunch of retired U.S. currency as it is sent to a facility to be incinerated. This task is complicated by an incoming hurricane which has the roads clogged by people on the run from the very Carolina coastal town that she is headed for.

'Pound'
Pound begins in the dark with Christopher Lloyd (Ezra Pound), quoting Pound's play Pull Down Thy Vanity, which sums up the play, Pound at the Lion Theater. The play takes place in the St. Elizabeth's Psychiatric Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Pound holds court with his "groupies." He receives people as he wishes and orders the workers around like they work for him. He has been charged with treason, from his socialist rants against America, capitalism and Jews. Having lived in Italy for many years, he was deported under treason charges and ended up where the entire play takes place, the insane asylum. Pound is ornery, indignant, and a tyrant in this facility. Some of the things he says to nurse Priscomb are downright cruel. He refers to her as blue hair and tells her that she could never be married and compares her to the newest Doctor, Dr. Polley (Kate Abbruzzese). Pound is equally cruel to his so-called friend Archibald Mac Leish, a poet who was trained by Pound, who is also a lawyer because as he says, "Poets need to pay their bills." Mac Leish knows Pound, or at least he thinks he does. He is ever grateful for what Pound did for him and is doing his best to get Pound out of there and clear his name and take him on tour as well.

'Knight and Day'—Review
So over the last few months, I have been on a real Tom Cruise kick. I have rewatched all the Mission Impossible films, Rain Man, War of the Worlds, Jerry Maguire, Vanilla Sky, and now Knight and Day. I remember watching the trailer for this film when it came out and it looked like a fun movie, but for some reason, it just slipped through the cracks until now. However, after watching it, I wasn't too upset that it took me this long to watch it because the one word I can use to describe this movie is "lazy".

'The Wolf of Wall Street'—Review
It was the week of Christmas, 2013. I had just completed my first semester of film school and because I was so busy studying the past couple of weeks, I decided to reward myself with a trip to the movies for four days in a row. American Hustle, Saving Mr. Banks, Anchorman 2, and on Christmas Day, after opening presents with family and friends, The Wolf of Wall Street. Now, I didn't really know what to expect and I was also extremely tired. Therefore, I wasn't the biggest fan of this movie for my first viewing. I thought it was extremely long (which it is) and I thought all the excess nudity, drugs and profanity was way too much. I had a hard time getting over all the craziness and seeing the actual story. However, there are some movies that I come across that I may not fully enjoy during my first viewing, but I can't stop thinking about it and give it a second chance where I end up loving it. The Wolf of Wall Street went from a three-hour snooze fest on Christmas morning, to one of my favourite movies.

'The Waverly Gallery'
Robert Massimi. In what is a chock full of theater season, The Waverly Gallery is another great one. Elaine May who has not been on a Theater stage for fifty years is just magnificent. May plays Gladys Green, a women who when we first meet her has the beginning of dementia. She is at the breakfast table talking to her grandson Daniel (a brilliant Lucas Hedges), she flashes her winning smile as she tells him about her grandfather, her ex lover after grandpa died and her life. She is hard of hearing and that hearing aid leads to a night full of comedy. Kenneth Lonergan has written an autobiographical piece as he recalls his own mother suffering this disease. Lonergan who wrote Lobby Hero, performed on Broadway last year, has written some remarkable pieces, Gangs Of New York and Manchester By The Sea to name a few, has a winner with Waverly. Lila Neugebauer is flawless in her direction of this play. The cast are all terrific and Neugebauer delivers a gentile yet a nuance of a play that deals with a horrible subject. In straddling a very fine line of comedy and what could be offensive, the direction takes us on a blissful theatrical experience.

Charmed Reboot: Episode 2 Summary
We start off this episode with a white woman working as a janitor at Macy's job getting attacked by a black blob. From what I could see the blob looked like it was dissolving into her skin or it may have been sucking something out of her.

Movie Review on 'First Man'
First and foremost, I'm not a professional critic. I have had a passion for movies since I was young and even got my associates in digital media. For the last year and a half I have been going to a movie in theaters at least one once a week.
