Why You Should Be Watching 'One Day at a Time'
I am a lover of sitcoms and as the years have progressed we've moved away from the Friends and The Big Bang Theory style set-up to a more creative set-up like Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Good Place. However, One Day at a Time is filmed in front of a live audience and its main set is the living room of an apartment, much like Friends. So, why am I raving about One Day at a Time? Because everything that Friends was lacking, this show has.

My Review of the Movie 'Glass'
I've been seeing some interesting reviews of this movie, and to be honest, some of them turned me off from watching Glass. I was worried because I loved Unbreakable when it first came out and I really liked Split, especially with that huge twist at the end. So, Glass was supposed to be one of my most highly anticipated movies for 2019, and it was! At least it was until I read the reviews for this movie. Apparently, a lot of people didn't like the ending of the movie and they didn't like the pacing of the story.

'Cold Pursuit' Is a Clunky Revenge Film With a Boring, Sloppily Written Story
AARRRUGGGHHH, it's The Foreigner all over again! Today, I decided to take a trip to the movie theater and watch two new movies. One of them was The Lego Movie 2, and the other one was Liam Neeson's newest action film.

'Exposed'
Robert Massimi. In writing on theater since 1982, the shows I enjoy the most are the "hidden gems" that are performed at off Broadway houses. Exposed is one of those "hidden gems." Brilliantly written, directed and acted, this 85 minute intermission-less play seems to go by with the blink of an eye.

RMHS Drama Club 'Selfie' Was a Powerful Performance
I enjoy when I get the chance to return back to my old high school to catch the talented drama club do a new show. Last night, the Reading Memorial High School Drama Club performed a powerful student-run production titled Selfie.

Book Review: Jason De Boer—Annihilation Songs
Stalking Horse Press is an independent publishing house based in Santa Fe, NM. Unlike mainstream publishers, their books are more radical and subversive. They publish authors who take risks and experiment with their literature. Jason De Boer is such a writer, with his ambitious renditions of three classics by William Shakespeare (Hamlet, The Tempest, and The Two Gentlemen of Verona).

My Review of 'Hands of Stone'
Hands of Stone is a little known movie about famous boxer named Roberto Duran. Roberto Duran is already a famous boxer that I'm sure much of the world has heard of, but he's a treasure in his homeland of Panama. This film tackles a lot of issues and pushes a ton of content into the 111 minute run time. It's very ambitious and I commend them for trying to do so much.

'Broken Path:' Riveting Action/Revenge Thriller from Power Rangers' Director Koichi Sakamoto
Ok, first of all, I would be a bit 'apprehensive' myself about the former Power Rangers director, Koichi Sakamoto, directing this martial arts epic from the off-start. However, as we're introduced to Johnny Yong Bosch (as seen above) portraying a former Yakuza assassin known as 'Jack Ellis/Hiroki' trying to escape from his own tortured past of crime and murder, we are guaranteed from the off-set a performance which is both compelling and incredible to watch. Therefore, I felt compelled to put to print, my feelings on the 2008 action/thriller Broken Path which hasn't received a lot of commercial attention or critical review to my surprise; but is one satisfying kick-ass movie, which will keep you entertained to the very bitter end.
