The Royal Ballet's 'Coppélia' Review
Isn’t it wonderful to leave the ballet with a smile rather than a tear-streaked face (thank you for that, Manon)? If your answer is yes, spend this Christmas watching the Royal Ballet tackle an old-favourite. Coppélia makes a welcome return to the Royal Opera House stage after a 13-year absence.

'You Were Never Really Here' (2017)
I was not prepared for this one. Reading the breif synopsis on Amazon intrigued me, but, my god, was it inadequate. Joe (Joaquin Phoenix), plays a combat veteran that now lives a life as a hired gunman. His missions are to find missing girls that are being used as a means to satisfy the desires of sexual deviants. While he is not on an assignment, Joe stays at home tending to his elderly mother (Judith Roberts), who is fading from this world both mentally and physically.

Watching 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' as an Adult
Warning: This post will contain spoilers. So recently I started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender for the first time since I was a child because I saw that it was on Netflix and I didn't have anything else to watch. Of course I remember loving it as a kid, but I didn't really remember any thing of substance. Well except of course the intro: "Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished." Of course, I remembered the main plot points such as how it ends and that Zuko is my favorite character, but other than that my mind was blank.

James Reviews - How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
It's not often that an animated film manages to kick off a trilogy of films that are consistent in quality, and an even larger rarity when Dreamworks' Animation produces something of such caliber. When How To Train Your Dragon came out in 2010, it wowed the entire world and put Dreamworks' back in the fight. Coming out in a time where they were floating by on the success of Shrek series and Disney seemed to dominate the animation industry. With this beautifully animated, epically scored and well written contribution, it got everyone to sit up and pay attention, realizing that this company had more to offer than the adventures of a green ogre. However, all good things must come to an end, and after a terrific sequel and a few successful TV series, The Hidden World closes out the trilogy, and the entire franchise, on a teary and fantastical note.
