My Review of "Molly's Game"
Molly's game is movie that's based on a book that's based on a true story. I didn't hear much of this movie back in 2017 but I remember the trailers didn't really convince me to watch it either. Three years later it shows up on Netflix and I took the plunge and I'm really glad I did. This movie was extremely good.

My Review of "Florence Foster Jenkins"
I barely heard anything about the movie Florence Foster Jenkins. It was released back in 2016 and I had no idea it was based on a true story. Period movies don't normally get to me but if a movie company is willing to gamble millions of dollars to get this movie on the movie screen then the story has to be interesting, right? Recently, it was added to Netflix so I decided to dive in. Boy was I happy that I got to see it.

My Review of "American Made"
Today it's kind of hard to find a non-action movie starring Tom Cruise. He's pretty well known as an action star despite the fact that he's not as young as he used to be. It's especially different when you see him starring in a movie based on a true story. Usually these are reserved for actors that want to get awards like Oscars and Golden Globes.

'Dolittle' Review—A Disjointed Mess
Who on Earth would have thought a movie named Dolittle would do so...little? Robert Downey Jr.'s post-Marvel career kicks off with Dolittle, a family adventure comedy where he steps into the shoes of Doctor John Dolittle, a veterinarian who talks to animals and goes on an adventure to receive a cure that may save the Queen of England.

My Review of "Blankman"
I remember watching Blankman back in 1994 when it first came out. I loved it but then again I was a kid back then. As a child I hadn't seem too many movies so this was an absolute eyeopener for me. Superhero movies weren't as big as they are today but they were on the rise. The Michael Keaton Batman was the biggest superhero back in those days. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were all the rage and fantastic show called In Living Color was killing it on TV.

‘Joker’ Pulls Its Punches
Joker arrived at Redbox so I finally got a chance to watch the film that so many paid reviewers working for the production company went on record as calling a triumph. I always find my wife is a good sounding board for whether something is quality or not. Three quarters of the way through Joker she feel asleep, and I had the volume cranked to 59!

My Review of "The Dream Team (1989)"
Every time I go back to watch an older 80's movie I remember how much of a different time it was back then. They sure played around with some wacky concepts. I think that's great because they came up with a lot of fun ideas. Many of these ideas got duplicated over and over through newer generation of movies. The Dream Team is another crazy concept.
