In the mood to get weird?
Top three surreal science fiction shows. For the past couple of decades, I’ve been a huge science fiction fan. As a kid I would watch Doctor Who with my father and as a teen I became a brown coat while watching firefly. After a while though, sometimes I would crave something unique, something someone obviously high on cough syrup wrote. There are many surreal science fiction shows out there, the mind-blowing the nonsensical and the ones that run over the fine line of being clever and being stupid.

My Review of "Aladdin (1992)"
Aladdin the animated movie from 1992 is a classic Disney animated movie. It's so popular that they decided to make a live action remake in 2019. It's been so long and I don't know why it's taken me this long to finally see it. I remember that it was popular when I was a kid but I never got to watch it. It kind of slipped through the cracks for almost 30 years. Luckily, I finally got the chance to watch it.

An Obsessed viewer
A s you know, The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. I personally never read the comic books series, although I do have a few friends that are obsessed with collecting them.

I Really Liked This Show
*THIS PIECE MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR NETFLIX'S THE QUEENS GAMBIT & HBO'S LOVECRAFT COUNTRY* The trailer for Netflix's new show "The Queens Gambit" seemed interesting enough, A girl becomes a chess legend amidst a life of turmoil, drug abuse, and social challenges. As with pretty much all of Netflix's catalogue the cinematography, costuming, and casting seemed really well done. The story set in the 50s and 60s looked surprisingly like a biographical film although it turns out to be an entire work of fiction.

My Review of "Hustlers"
Hustlers came out in 2019 and I think people overlooked this movie because of the wrong reasons. It looks like a run of the mill crime movie about stripper. In a way it is but if you watch the movie, you'll realize there are layers to this crime movie that you wouldn't really think about. Even crazier is that this movie was loosely based off a true story.

Analyzing a foreign film: A look at What Time Is It There?
The foreign film experience is definitely something to behold. Film all over the world can follow a similar construction when it comes to story and plot, sure. But then you have those films that simply break out of the norm and become something so fantastical and so underrated they get missed or forgotten because they weren't talked about when they were released. In this article I will be discussing the film "What Time Is It There?", written and directed by Ming-Laing Tsai and co-written by Pi-Ying Yang, and tells the story of a street vendor selling watching who is changed by one simple interaction with a girl he meets that wants to buy the watch that he's wearing because it tells the time in two time zones so that she knows that time there and in Paris where she is headed.

My Review of "Kevin Hart: Zero F**ks Given"
Kevin Hart: Zero F**ks Given comes out at a time when quite frankly we need it. It's sort of similar to his last outing Kevin Hart: Irresponsible. I was a little worried about that. I wasn't a huge fan of his last outing but it seems he's come back to form for me. At least I could relate more to the material that he delivered in this special than the last one. I think the last special had more of a parental feel that I couldn't really relate to as a single person. This one had more of a general understanding that I could get with.

The Queens Gambit
Anya Taylor-Jay is simply stunning as Beth Harmon in The Queens Gambit. This new Netflix original is a must-see. The game of Chess has been brought to life by an orphaned Beth Harmon, played by Anya Taylor-Jay, in this new Netflix original, The Queens Gambit.
