My Review of "I Am Woman"
I Am Woman is a biopic of the singer Helen Reddy. Admittingly, before watching this movie I had no idea who Helen Reddy was. I've only heard one of her songs through a Simpsons' episode a long time ago but didn't understand the full impact she had on society. Luckily this movie was made to make me aware of all of the positive impacts that Helen had in the world.

Lisbeth Salander, The Girl Who Survived: Rape, Human Trafficking, and Sexual Violence in Steig Larsson’s “Millennium Trilogy”
Character Background Lisbeth Salander is a forensic investigator for a private security company, Milton Security, in Sweden. A ward of the state, Lisbeth was removed from her home as a young girl and institutionalized after she tried to set her father on fire, hence the title of the film. Lisbeth is portrayed to possibly be on the autism spectrum, extremely intelligent with an eidetic memory, considered rude by Swedish social standards, she smokes heavily and has a fondness for junk food, and spends her time investigating, hacking into people she finds suspicious, occasionally using drugs, and visiting LGBT nightclubs (in the American version).

Season after season we have traveled this winding, crazy, path. Never knowing from one cliff hanger to the next how this would all end. When would this end. After 15 long seasons we have the answer. In just a couple short (because fans are not ready) weeks this adventure will be over. There is hope that some how the show will be resurrected. Or there will be some type of spin off. Reality is, we never know what the future holds.

Small Axe 'Lovers Rock' - review
As part of a series of films, under the banner of Small Axe, British director Steve McQueen has brought a collection of dramas depicting the life of black people in the seventies and eighties in London. By all accounts, the first of the dramas, Mangrove, was well received.

One of the Best Shoujo Animes of the 2000s – ToraDora!
Even though the reason behind my revisit of the anime, ToraDora!, still remains unknown, it’s definitely safe to say that this anime is timeless, beautiful, and will forever remain as a truly pure example of how moving and immersive shoujo animes were in the 2000s.

A Little Too Good, A Little Underrated: I Don't Love You Yet
Controversial statements aren’t necessarily the best way to start off a review. However, I think that a fair number of people who consume Japanese dramas can agree that quality romantic-comedies of its kind are certainly far and few between. A huge reason as to why this is so, is mainly due to the fact that many of these dramas are based off of popular manga series. While the original artworks may have been excellent, I have found that many drama adaptations often pale in comparison. Most of them are so focused on imitating the original manga that they’re based upon that the overall delivery of everything ultimately ends up falling flat. This often results in cringe-worthy exaggerations and terribly storytelling.

Review of 'A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes'
Ambition will fuel him. Competition will drive him. But power has its price. It is the morning of the reaping that will kick off the tenth annual Hunger Games. In the Capitol, eighteen-year-old Coriolanus Snow is preparing for his one shot at glory as a mentor in the Games. The once-mighty house of Snow has fallen on hard times, its fate hanging on the slender chance that Coriolanus will be able to outcharm, outwit, and outmaneuver his fellow students to mentor the winning tribute. The odds are against him. He's been given the humiliating assignment of mentoring the female tribute from District 12, the lowest of the low. Their fates are now completely intertwined -- every choice Coriolanus makes could lead to favor or failure, triumph or ruin. Inside the arena, it will be a fight to the death. Outside the arena, Coriolanus starts to feel for his doomed tribute... and must weigh his need to follow the rules against his desire to survive no matter what it takes.
