Sister Act - A Movie Review
Nuns like to have fun too. Just ask Sister Mary Clarence. Sister Act hit theaters in 1992. After witnessing a horrible crime, Deloris is in danger. The only way she can stay safe is if she hides in a convent as a nun. Little does Deloris know how much she will learn about herself in hiding as Sister Mary Clarence.

Dash and Lily is a Christmas Miracle
After confessing my embarrassing penchant for repeatedly watching a rather badly made Christmas Rom Com, I discovered a cute little gem on Netflix. I avoided it for the first while, thinking what a silly concept to have a tv show set around Christmas because how would that work as the seasons went on? It kept popping up in my recommended and curiosity finally got the better of me and I'm so glad it did.

Why We Love “Emily In Paris.”
Netflix has a fun cultural tease for us that is oozing in popularity right now. Why has this American dramedy taken Netflix by storm? The acting is quality but the uncultured overly confident Emily can be quite obnoxious at times especially for those of us au fais with European languages and cultures.

Why We Should Be More Forgiving of Harper in 'Happiest Season'
If you're like me and pretty much every other member of the LGBTQ+ community, you were ecstatic about Happiest Season hitting Hulu. The film directed by queer actress/director Clea DuVall dropped on Hulu this past week, and already, viewers have a lot to say about the Christmas-themed romantic comedy. Not only is it the first major Christmas release to feature a same-sex couple, but it also amps up LGBTQ+ representation by featuring queer actors. Aside from this, the story itself has gained quite the response from viewers.

My Review of "Hillbilly Elergy"
Hillbilly Elergy is a pretty intense movie that jumps timelines but still works. the timing of my viewing was kind of weird because I had just recently watched the movie "Honey Boy" on Prime. The similarities between the two movies were quite astounding.

The Strange Misandry of 40 Days and 40 Nights
I noticed the other day that 40 Days and 40 Nights was on Netflix Canada. Right now, familiar things are comfort food to me. Yeah, I like new but sometimes you just want to throw on something stupid and fluffy that doesn't make you think. Boy was I surprised.

My Review of "The Queen's Gambit"
The Queen's Gambit is probably one of the most talked about series on Netflix this holiday season. It just recently came out at the end of 2020 and absolutely everyone has been raving over it so I thought I'd give it a shot. There's a lot of very cool moments and the pacing is great but it all seemed a little familiar. Then I realized it closely resembles the sequences of a lot of my favorite anime's and Manga comics.
