My Review of "Ride the Eagle"
Ride the Eagle came out quietly in 2021. I've never heard of this movie but I thought it was an interesting idea. Also, I was pretty impressed that they could garner so many stars to play in such a small movie. It just recently came up on Crave in Canada so I decided to check it out.

My Review of "Earthquake: Legendary"
Earthquake: Legendary is Earthquake's first Netflix stand-up special. It seems to be a new stand-up series that highlight stand-up comedians that need more light. I have to admit, I've only heard of Earthquake before but never really heard his sets. This is a shame because he's been around for a long time so there's lots to catch up on.

Split Second: A Review
Movies were a huge part of my childhood. I grew up in the 1980s, when cable television and video first surfaced in popular culture, so I rented, bought, and watched a lot of movies at home. I was a horror enthusiast but being an only child and a latchkey kid with a predisposition toward solitude, I would watch anything just to pass the time. Yet there were many movies that I wanted to see but never got around to checking out.

Kuzgun: An Epic Tale
My love for and foray into Turkish drama happened purely by accident and I have Instagram reels and YouTube to thank for that. Turkish drama contains some rare gems and I am just beginning my journey of discovery. Turkish dramas are lively, suspenseful, beautifully written with some splendid storytelling.

Spider-Man and Shang-Chi Movie Reviews
Spider-Man: No Way Home The third Spider-Man film in the shared Sony and Marvel Universe (MCU), “Spider-Man: No Way Home” goes deep into nostalgia, but wide with how the story wants to make you feel. It’s everything a fan of the wall crawler’s cinematic history will love and that’s more than enough to get people in seats.

My Review of "The Batman (2022)". Top Story - March 2022.
The Batman (2022) is a very different type of superhero movie. Gone are the big bombastic super powers. Instead we have a human trying to grapple into his own consciousness to understand why he's doing what he does. We're on the ride during his journey.

I Watched Disney's Encanto
The film opens with young Mirabel wearing glasses about five years old and Abuelita (voiced by María Cecilia Botero). Her grandmother tells her a story how a magical candle brought her and her family magical powers and a magical house called Casita.

The Batman - review
The DCEU’s latest iteration of every comic book fans’ favourite orphan billionaire, turned caped vigilante, takes a different approach to the superhero genre. Matt Reeve’s film, The Batman, brings the caped crusader into the twenty-first century, retaining only the darkness of the stylistic, era mixing, television show, Gotham.

Thank You, RedLetterMedia
The gang of RedLetterMedia is the closest thing to Nietzsche’s Ubermensch in the modern world. They represent everything holy and sacred in today’s internet culture, the very best it has to offer. For more than a decade they have entertained and inspired a generation of moviegoers to expand their horizons by providing fun and creative reviews of movies they’re particularly interested in. The gimmick has resulted in an avid following willing to support and defend everything they stand for. The world is a better place for their existence, and their success is proof of an actual chance that smart and thought provoking commentary is possible in an era where everything is stale and packaged together.
