The One That Started It All
We often think of Disney and Disney World when someone mentions the story of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". However, this story was a book before Disney magic brought it to cinema and before it became "the one that started it all". When we look at the movie compared to modern theater these days, it seems so antiquated and outdated. Yet the music and artistry of the original Disney film is beyond classic and beautiful. Many minds were affected by this film and story. More so, the story as it resonates deeply in the subconscious mind.

The Boys
Wow, a lot happened last episode. Butcher realizes that he has been hallucinating Joe, and he finds out that the only way to modify the virus is to make it airborne, therefore killing all the Supes. It seems like the only reason that this makes Butcher hesitate is Ryan. Then we have the fact that now Firecracker has finally gotten in with Homelander and our big, evil, all powerful villain is back to breastfeeding. This does give her some level of power over him now.

Subconsciously "Beauty and the Beast" motivates women in romance. AI-Generated.
I've been like Belle from "Beauty and the Beast" - the good girl who has a taste for the bad boy. That's really what "Beauty and the Beast" is all about. It's not just some musical animated by Disney to make little kids happy. It's a deep story about love overcoming darkness. It's actually a very Christian theme, but it's written to be a romance. Deep, deep in the subconscious of many Christian women is this longing to be the "Belle" that can transform the heart of a beast. Realistically and maturely, we know, men don't change and they don't want to change for a woman. Yet if you see a good girl going crazy about a bad boy, just know, she's "Belling" it. She's got her heart set on a Christian romantic project or experiment to see if she's got what it takes to change the man. It's a "tale as old as time" as the song goes.

Four modern movies that touch on the Cinderella theme
It doesn't matter if you are a Disney fan or not. It doesn't even matter if you like the story of Cinderella or if you've never even heard of it or seen her castle. The idea, that a poor girl can marry a rich guy and live happily ever after is a central idea in American romance and is deeply rooted in feminine ideology. It is why women cry at weddings. It is why women gasp at wedding dresses and open ring boxes. It is why men who attempt at being romantic get down on their knees to propose, or plan some memorable way of popping the question.

Power Rangers Review: "Doomsday"
As I mentioned in a past review, when I was a kid, I actually didn't like the group of episodes that aired after "The Green Candle" and before "Return of an Old Friend." The reason, for me, was simple: the Power Rangers felt empty without Tommy. I did grow out of that attitude as I got older, and I would enjoy that group of episodes again, as they definitely had their moments. However, if there was one episode from that brief period that I loved even back then, it was definitely "Doomsday."

Madame Web
Now obviously Madame Web has gotten a lot of shit and I had no doubt in my mind that it was going to be bad. Because let’s be honest, Sony can’t handle live action superhero movies. The Spiderverse movies are brilliant due to the fact that they are produced by a completely different department. But between this, the Venom movies and the Kraven movie we are all going to sit through, they aren’t a good studio for superhero films. Now we all know by now that I don’t believe you have the right to an opinion unless you can defend it, so does Madame Web really suck as bad as the internet says? Let’s find out.

Lisa Frankenstein
Lisa Frankenstein has been on my to watch list for a very long time. I love the cast, the vibes from the trailer are immaculate and honestly any movie set in the 80s gets my attention. So we are finally sitting my ass down and watching it. I will say that right off the bat I am in love with the opening sequence, it feels very Tim Burton-esque…the early years. It was also written and directed by women which we should know by now makes me very excited. And I have very high hopes for this movie so let’s dive in.

House of the Dragon Episode 4
We are now four weeks into season 2 of House of the Dragon and the writers have spent the last 3 episodes telling the audience that the creative team doesn’t even know what Fire and Blood is. Last week's final scene was a pathetic attempt at character development and it failed miserably. I am really hoping that there is a major turn in the tide here with House of the Dragon season 2 episode 4 because otherwise I am going to rip my hair out.
