My Review of "Twisters"
Twisters is sort of a reboot of an old popular movie from the 90s called Twister. It's aptly named because there are a ton of twisters in this movie and it's kind of ridiculous. I have to give this movie some credit because we haven't had a disaster movie in a while. Though the devastation of this movie is isolated to some small towns, I'd still consider this a disaster movie. I miss them so maybe that was what triggered me to watch this one.

My Review of "Jurassic Park III"
Jurassic Park III came out back in 2001. I was really hesitant of watching this one because I didn't like the second one that much. There were so many problems with the second one that I thought this third one was going to be a disaster. It's not a great movie but I did like it more than the second one. When watching this movie I had to remember the target audience for this movie was preteens looking for horror. This is what was delivered and I can't fault them for that.

Smothered Centers Transgender Issue on People instead of Politics
Pronouns, gender neutral bathrooms and Title IX in the face of transgender athletes, the disagreements represent the latest episode in the red state, blue state culture wars. But as we hurl insults across the national divide, Smothered reminds us that the people caught in the middle have a beating heart. And as a consequence, the clarification can help center us where we should be - on those that are living the daily travails and struggling through. This instead of on us, and our need to be right.
